As salaamu 'alaikym, my friend.
Insha'Allah, it is haram and by doing this, they are not practicing Islam so let's not call them Muslims.
Depending upon what country you reside in, they may undoubtedly be falling under the immoral influence of Western society where such behaviors are not only excepted as part of ones youthful experience but, sadly, promoted by the society itself.
Insha'Allah, you should correct them and then pray for them. However, until they repent and return to Islam, asking Allah, Subhanna wa Ta'ala for His Mercy and Forgiveness, they should be avoided by all Muslims as we have been taught in the Holy Qur'an and in the Sunnah al Hadiths.

If you are Muslim because of these guys that are drinking, it would be a problem ...
... but don't let this distract you from you spiritual journey. You can go the way you see as right, and those that regret their drinking have a better example to follow than their drinking buddies.

It's so simple no body is perfect....
Those are muslims who make sins!!!!
may be Allah forgive them if they stop it and ask his forgivness..
All sins are forgivable in Islam if the person sincerely repents to Allah. Conditions of repentance are these:
1. Regretting the sin
2. Determining not to commit the same sin again
3. Returning things to their rightful owners if the sin is related to wronging people
Allah says [Say: "O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls! despair not of the Mercy of Allah: for Allah forgives all sins: for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful] (Az-Zumar 39:53).

You mean this is not halal. Many people don't follow their religion closely and do things they know they are forbidden to do. InshaAllah, they will realize that what they are doing is wrong and change their behavior.

Some Mormons drink Caffeine too (they aren't supposed to).
They either don't have any faith or are weak in iman (thier ego (nafs) is ruling them) and are failing this test from God swt.
