Hanibal, BA, Face, and Murdoch wouldn't have let Jesus get crucified, that's for sure.

If Jesus told BA that "before the cock crows thrice you'll deny me twice", BA would have went out and kicked that cock's ace! End of story.

To those who don't know, Occam's Razor states that the simpliest answer is most likely the correct answer. This being said, I would like to propose a question of simplicity.

Creationism or Evolution? Which has the simpliest answers and why?

Best answer will go to the one who can provide the best response concerning his position (regardless of what I think). Please try not to bash either side during this. It is a standard debate. Who will come up with the best response? Good luck

When they say,"Jesus died for our sins," I think that would cover all of the above. Wouldn't you?

I am 24 and have a friend who is a catholic girl "gone bad". Of course I understand that this IS the case with any religion so I am not trying to discriminate. I have known this girl for about 8 years. That is a long time but do understand I wouldnt really call her a "best friend" and I think "good friend" is even pushing it to the limit. She is just more wild and crazy than I have ever been. She has been with a ton of men and has had a few ab**tions which I am 100% AGAINST although I would never talk sh** to someones face about having it done. Keep in mind that she has never been a rape victim so you get the idea. Well, a year and half ago we get back in touch and she tells me about this new flame that she has. Time goes by and eventually she gets preg. and has hard times with him. I talk to her on the phone and she tell me she wants me to be the GODMOTHER. I say yes and tell her with full support that she will make it through. One month later she has an Ab******...We keep in touch ->

I know it's basically the same thing, but everyone is saying it's better to have a religion. So what are the atheists supposed to do? If they don't want people hating them for their beliefs, they have to convert, even though they don't really believe that there is a God?
And I am so so sorry if I offend ANYONE here. It's really not intended.

The Bible clearly teaches that when we die we are not aware of anything. Eccl.9:5 -"For the living are conscious that they will die but as for the dead they are conscious of nothing at all".
In the account of the death of Jesus' friend Lazarus,Jesus compared death to a sleep .(John11:11-14). I really don't know how to word my question, but as a Christian, I like to think that I will be able to actually see my family in Heaven again...What is an afterlife if you are 'asleep' and know of nothing? Also, I have heard some Catholics believe that when you die you know everyone as your brother and sister, but not as your 'mom', 'husband', etc. You don't remember them. That scares me, too! What do you guys think?

Hello! :)

I'm 30 years old, and I've always been curious about women who lived in the 1930's, 40's, and 50's--and wondered what they used for Birth Control? For example, I've always wondered how women like Marilyn Monroe did not get pregnant.

My grandma had 11 kids (she was born in 1935), and I hear many stories of women back then who had 17 kids. My God! Whew! But I see that many movie stars did not have many children--So, 'fess up! What was the secret to not getting knocked up, I mean, "with child" back then? :)

..thank you in advance :)

In other words, is the Christian faith based on convincing people first that a need exists before offering to meet that need?

Or alternatively, is there a universally experienced need for salvation? If this is not universally experienced, is the notion of salvation meaningless?

What types of jobs are out there that are similar to that of Dirk Pitt (played by Matthew McConaughey) in Sahara. He is an adventurer/explorer/treasure hunter. Does anybody know of jobs like this that provide a great deal of travel, adventure, excitement and danger? I will serve 4 years in the Marines after college, but after that I want a job that will allow me to travel the whole world in a rewarding way. Any suggestions? Thanks

Some of my thoughts...type of pilot, cia officer, travel writer, war correspondent, explorer of some type, extreme tourism/sports job, traveling missionary work, foreign legion...etc.

Feel free to elaborate on the above, add your own, or both

So, here is the deal. This newer girl at my work today smelled really bad! It wasn't like body odor or anything, it smelled like vomit and spoiled milk. One girl, who had no idea it was her who smelled so horrible, went around trying to figure out where the smell was coming from, before someone informed her it was this particular girl and this smelly girl could not smell it herself. So, everyone at work was talking about her behind her back and we think she had even overheard some of the girls talking about her. I felt really bad about it and didn't want to talk behind her back and really wanted to tell her that it wasn't that we disliked her, but that she smelled rancid! Thing is, I had no idea what to say or how to tell someone that they stunk! So, if this had happened to you, what would you tell them to minimize any hurt feelings?

There is a guy I like and I'm beginning to like as well. We are in the same program at school and we are both Christians. However, he is a follower of the "Word of Faith" doctrine. Before I met him, I knew about this movement and I disagree with most of what that doctrine states, especially "Jesus died so we could be healthy, wealthy and happy."
Am I being too harsh if I turn him down simply because of his doctrinal beliefs?
