Evil will exist with or without religion, some times people just use it as a way to justify their actions... Like the crusaders, the early crusades was the perfect opportunity for the preachers of the Catholic church to make some money and gain some political advantages. And how convenient that it just happened to be 'Gods Will' However a cause is always given to unite men. In Soviet Russia where religion was banned, everybody just preached Communism instead

You said you believe in a God so I'm sorry if this offends you, but I think the world would be better off without monotheistic faiths. After studying theology in depth, I find Eastern religions, the vast majority polytheistic and pantheistic in nature, to be truly beautiful structures that really do teach peace and acceptance.
It should be of no surprise to anyone who has studied theology that these religions, although they have been around much longer than their monotheistic counterparts, have been relatively extremely peaceful.

Probably not at first. Apparently a lot of people don't know how to act without an intangible parent figure. It would take a while before some could develop a sense of morality on their own.

Jesus Himself spoke against religion. He is about a personal relationship. When it gets to be more about a denomination, and how they do things, and all that, then it is about religion, and they have "forgotten their first love." Please read in Revelation the letters to the 7 churches. Jesus tell us what is right, and what is wrong, and what will be blessed and what will be condemned. Notice how He makes it an INDIVIDUAL choice, not "this" particular "church" will go to heaven, and "that" particular "church won't. The True Church, is the Bride of Christ, His true Believers, not a denomination, or a building, or rituals, etc.

Question # 1.No
If you think it is bs, and you say you believe, if so your action will reflect Christ-likeness.
Jesus' return is any day now, all Prophecies have been
fulfilled.
If Jesus came tonight is your heart right with God? Would you go to Heaven or will you be left behind?

Unquestionably - stats back me up. We'd also be far more advanced had the Dark Ages not hampered scientific development, there would have been no Inquisition or Crusades or witch trials or Hitler or suicide bombers or Bush presidency or, wow, the list goes on!

No, I think it would be almost exactly the same. Masses of people are not rational and would simply follow some other non-sensical ideal that had a loud-mouthed and strong leader.

While there are religions I really don't approve of, I do think that some religions are needed simply because there are people who need something to believe in that is greater than themselves, and it helps to be around people who have those same feelings.

Well, it's hard to say. There's always been some form of religion, that i can't even imagine the world without it.
