some humans are less developed than others, intellectually and morally - hence religion.

That is interesting. Many times, I have had some one quote the bible about the verses dealing with non-believers.
Ok, so that means that god knew there were going to be non-believers. In fact, god needed them. If they were not there then the bible would be wrong. That would indicate that free will is not reality in the god scenario. God would have to create non-believers and force to not believe or god would have already known the future which means it is set and cannot be changed. To do otherwise would just be guessing that there would be unbelievers.

Do you think some people programmed people to believe in himself of herself?

To think so would require that one believes there IS a god (Or gods). Knowledge of the contrary allows one to realize that belief is an enculturation that one either eventually accepts or rejects.

just think..if "you" were one of those persons...and He did this on purpose! and there is no way you can turn this around, and all you can do is deny Him, and laugh, and crack jokes, and believe everything else except what is "truth!" now, wouldn't that take the air out of your sails! Just think about it..and this is all you are going to be...and all you can do is hang with all the rest and "agree" with them..never being able to believe.."Knowing" better, powerless to do anything about it...one of Gods' "patsys" if i thought this ..i would try to change His mind....before, well, you know..."Peace!"

Why would a loving God bother to do that? Doesn't He have to condemn non-believers to Hell? If He loves all of His creation why wouldn't he make everybody capable of believing unshakably for their entire lives? He IS all-powerful, capable of doing anything he wants, right?
The only conclusion to be drawn from what you posit is that God is a d!ck who enjoys making His creation suffer. Either that, or he is NOT capable of doing anything he wants and in fact his own creation of "free will" was his worst idea ever, from his point of view. In either case, why bother to worship a deity that is either blatantly not powerful OR purely sadistic?

No. It is a choice. The problem is not God's refusal to forgive, but humanity's persistent and determined rejection of Christ.

the only people that God made or "programmed" is Adam and Eve. The rest of us are just sinful decendants of the two of them.
