You will be fine and happier than you can imagine now. It was scarey at first, then I learned so much about myself and my interests that it became a very wise decision on my part and I grew from the experience.

I wish you the very best in the future

Divorce over age 50 was really hard for me. I was looking foreward to retiring early, but now I can't, plus it was an age in my life that I thought I would be content with my life partner through my golden years. It was my ex partner that was obviously not content and was meeting younger women.Yes, I think we do become in denial sometimes still clinging to our dreams. But, I have no regrets either. And, I am happy rediscovering myself at this age.Welcome back!

I've been in your shoes as well, so just take a day at a time & be happy. Like you, at age 58, I had no regrets about what I had to do to find happiness & peace within myself. You'll find it too. I wish you all the very best. :)

You've just begun! It will get better. Eventually you will wonder why it was so traumatic and why you did not see the light sooner. Don't fret over those things--move on--enjoy the rest of your life!
