We have "extremists" in every religion and just because hundreds or possibly thousands of believers strap bombs to themselves and use God as their shield, i do not think we should bash the Islamic religion (or way of life) as a whole.

It is obvious that religions may not last the century, due to contradicting religious beliefs and theories, historical evidence that disproves many theories, the lack of any evidence what so ever that there is even a god, and most importantantly the scientific breakthroughs that are contributing to the understanding of the universe(s?) more and more each day.

I just read this on someones profile. However it seems to be a contradiction in terms. What is your opinion?

I am a Post-Apocalyptic Preterest Evangelical Christian. I believe that Satan and other chief devils have been destroyed, hell has been overthrown, and we are living in a time in which only those who were raptured are aware of these changes in the other dimension.

They way i see it is that the biblical sense of demons has not been defeated in the spiritual realm. But as christians we do not walk in that victory until we apply the blood of the Lord Jesus and begin walking in His authority.

The councelling rooms show this.

This article says that many hotels are no longer offering Bibles in the nightstands.

My thought is that I go to the hotel to sleep when out of town...not to do Bible study...so, no big whoop. If I want Bible study, I will take my own Bible.

Also, it seems that many of the hotels had complaints from customers that a Bible was offered, but not the book of their religion, be it Buddhist, Hindu, etc... So, it would be rather difficult to provide the holy book for every religion.

Others commented that they think this is terrible as this is another movement of taking God out of our country. However, I think that is sensationalistic....as if God is leading someone to read the Bible, they will lead them to a church or a bookstore, not to a hotel room.

Your thoughts?

Geneses 17:1-16
“17:10 This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised”
Can someone explained to me please. If God is so immutable (unchangeable) as most Christians are trying to portrait him, than how come circumcision is not necessary for Christians?
When people bring the argument that Jesus fulfill the law or anything similar to that they are misleading others. Covenant is not a law. There is a huge difference between law and what god promised.
As far as we can see, few thousand years before Jesus even showed up in the picture god makes promise to Abraham. And as anyone who reads Geneses can see that god did not asked anything in return from Abraham and his future children’s except circumcision for this covenant. Whatever law Jewish people create in the name of god later on has nothing to do with this covenant.
