I sure am. I know it's bs, but wouldn't it be great?! There will be no more Christians on earth! Think of everything we can get accomplished. I think the rapture is a little misunderstood. I think it will be the beginning of a Utopian society. Although, the R & S section would get kind of boring....

I came across this cartoon today and it made me think.

I used to be a Christian and knew how to pray, never prayed for anything for myself, worded it perfectly and prayed in total earnest, but never once got a prayer answered. I never knew anyone that got a real prayer answered.

My question is, why would God want us to pray to him if he never intends to answer any prayers? Why are answered prayers given to just a few when so many of them are genuinely selfless and asking for good things?

Please don't say that sometimes God's answer is "No". It's always "No".

My sister is a drug abussing prostitute. She doesn't care about herself or have anymorals. She is really really messed up. I'm scared for her. I want her to go see the priest, but she won't go into a church. I think that only religion can save her.

I've never felt like I've fit in, ever. I've never liked parties or crowds of any kind. The majority of people's idea of fun-loud parties, dancing, bars, etc., has never been my idea of fun. Many people throughout my life have told me that I need to quit being such an odd ball, but that's just me. I'd rather do something quiet and peaceful like artwork, or reading, or taking a long walk at a nature preserve. I've been this way since I was a small child, so I suppose I'll never fit in. Has anyone else ever felt alone in a world of people?

What to do if you're struggling with celibacy, desire to marry, but unable to find a marriage partner? It is written it is better to marry than to burn with passion, however, the Bible never gives us an out if we can't marry. What are you to do then?

Its taboo or nonexistant in every single arab, african, and asian nation on the face of the earth. Only Europeans and European decended peoples have carried on the lifestyle. The only reason why it hasnt been fully embraced in America is because its relatively diverse but im confident if it wasnt gay marriage would also be allowed here. Im not being racist but Id just like to know how did homosexuality become part of European culture.

I called my friend Louie to his cell, and I was surprised to hear a female voice answered. I asked if Louie was there, she said there was no Louie, I looked at my phone, and noticed I dialed the wrong number.
Suddenly, this woman starts yelling at me on the phone telling to stop bothering her, so I just hung up.
Seconds later, the phone rings. A male voice starts yelling at me telling me to stop bothering them, so I hang up again.
A minute later, the phone rings again, it's the female voice. She yells asking me why was I calling. I tell her, I only misdialed once, that they were the ones calling me. So she hangs up.

What's wrong with these people?

I have been actively trying to convert this Buddhist couple that I know for about a year now. I started off talking to them about the Gospel, and they didn't listen. Then I consulted "wayofthemaster.com" and tried their methods and it still hasn't worked.
When I was on "wayofthemaster.com" I saw a question about "Hellfire and Brimstone" preaching, and it said that so long as you are being true to the Gospel that is is okay to do "Hellfire and Brimstone" preaching.
I started telling this couple about the terror and wrath God will impose on them if they do not accept his son as their lord and saviour, but I think this just push them even farther away.
I don't understand how to convert these people. They are so peaceful and happy, and content with their lives and I am trying to warn them of the terrors of Hell once they die. They may think they are living a good life now, but God will show them whats what when they die.

Like, have you ever had an initial attraction and while getting to know them or hearing them speak, they'll say something you weren't expecting and then thee attraction is gone?

That has happened to me recently in which the person I was interested in went on some sort of incoherent speech about his religion and I was like 'Grr, shut up, shut up, shut up! ._. Just sit there and look cute!'

Since then I've lost any real desire to even talk to him just because I don't think it would ever work. He was hot too :(

Anyway, has something like that put you off before?
