Patience has to start way before something sets you off, we have to remember that the world is going on its merry way and even though we are disabled people are still going to do whats best for them not us. So when you have to deal with the public already be way ahead of them and focus on being relaxed. Don't let them get you upset, I know exactly what you are talking about, sometimes I will break out into a sweat if I don't get control of myself quickly, thats why I have been trying to train myself to calm down way before I have to deal with other people. I take meds but sometimes its not enough, also sometimes you just have to say I;m sorry after going off to, I've been there, good luck, and try practicing patience before you get to the troubling part.

Being aware is the first step to your problem. Now that you are you know what you need to work on. Start today! In regards to patience start by going in the longest line at the grocery store nstead of the shortest. bring books to read or play games on your cell phone. become friends with someone who is always late. (Tha'ts about the best tip I can give.) When things don't go your way, try putting someone else first. You probably don't need meds for those two problems. it just sounds like you have the Human condition. (Oh Dear! Gasp! you are NORMAL! LOL!) There are no pills for patience and frustration. you have to cure the disease or the symptoms will never go away.

You mean without meds? Well sometimes you just need a time out, take a breather, and try to be patient. Try some calming exercises in your free time.

You want Meds??? Oh believe me, you don't want meds. I have been there and I was a guinea pig for trials to controlling drugs. Drugs that make you want to commit suicide. And you have no control over. You do NOT want MEDS.

Why meds? Why not try meditation, biofeedback, or just counseling!
