Because it wasn't really a Bang. It is more appropriate to say The Expansion of a Condensed Point Containing all the Matter and Energy Theory. But that is too long.

your comparing the expansion of the universe to an explosion. remember the big bang was a nick name thought up by a creationist to try to deflate the validity of the theory, it just happened to stick and even scientists will go along with the name, though its a bit misleading.
expansion does not mean the same as explosion. just like rectangle does not necessarily mean square.
im rambling now...
scientists will use funny names that aren't entirely accurate sometimes. take a look at quantum chromodyanamics. the name would suggest the emission or use of colors. but the sub atomic particles that are dealt with in this field are far too small to emit light of their own. the reason that the field is named as it is, is not because these subatomic particles are colored but that it provides the three distinct quantum states. the idea of color is supported by the fact that all commonly observed particles have either three quarks (baryons) or two (mesons), the combinations of which can be colorless or color neutral with three values.

Think about the way an explosion occurs, it pushes everything away from the centre. The big bang was just a little bit larger.

Because you're comparing explosives with the Big Bang? Yah..you shouldn't do that.

Squeeze the entire universe down to a point, at practically infinite temperature. Then let it go.
If there were anything able to be standing nearby, it would have been torn to shreds very satisfactorily.

Because you obviously do not understand the meaning of "big bang" nor do you care to.
