Yes Noah's ark was a type & shadow of the rapture...ie...Meaning a way of escape of the things coming upon the earth.
Same with the rapture. Jesus Christ has provided a way of escape through His death & resurrection and sits @ the right hand of the Father today.
Noah preached 120 years that a flood was coming and nobody believed him, because they had never seen rain In that area.
Much like today with people being warned about the rapture of the church. They say where Is the promise of His coming. I've heard this all my life. He Jesus will come as a thief In the night. Be ready for He will come In an hour In which you think not.
Many will be left behind to endure the tribulation, the seven years of hell on earth. The parable of the ten virgins Is another great example. Five were wise and 5 were foolish...Which one are you ?
Watch & pray that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that are coming upon the earth.
Repent,tomorrow may be to late.
Eternity Is a long time to be wrong about your eternal destiny.

Yes, sister, it does. God gave people time to repent of their sins while Noah was building the ark. Even after the ark was finished, He still waited seven days before He brought the rains to cover the earth and destroy everything that had the breath of life in it. The ark represents Jesus Christ, and those who have put their trust in Him will ride safely while God's wrath is poured out on this earth in Revelation. We will then follow Him to the earth which will be made new again. God bless you!!!

Yes it is a type of it .When you think about it they had 200 yrs warning , and just kept ranting and raving till the rains came .Also we are warned about the time before the rapture . "As in the days of Noah" there will be scoffers and mockers and bashers ,but it also says about marriage and crime etc etc . So yes there is a resemblance, and we are at that time. Also Moses took 40 yrs across the desert why / because of the same thing failure to head the warnings

I was raised by a pentacostal preacher and went to church all my life. I have done a lot of reading and studying in the bible and no where do I see where the "Rapture" seems like a safe place in any form. The rapture is explained as a time when those that a christians will be taken and the souls of the dead that were christians will be taken, all to face judgement. Those that are not christians will be left through tribulation. This is were it gets really bad. Tribulation is where those that were left are kind of given a second chance. They will be given the chance to deny christ or be killed or tortured to death. I dont know about you but I really dont want to see that.
I guess if you are a christian and a true believer ( not a hipocrit like a lot of people I know in churches), then maybe the rapture is safe. If not though, maybe its just better to die before the rapture takes place.

sallyjane stole my answer. Maybe we just agree though.
The ark was a forecast of the rapture just as Moses was a forecast of Jesus.

It will be like the days of Noah when the Messiah makes His return. Although, I believe most believers will go through a crucible of some kind. That's how you refine gold. Selah.

So I take it that the rapture was the topic at church yesterday. Get a life!!! The rapture is never going to happen. The rapture and this tribulation was created toscare people into following the church and give money to the people in charege of the church.

Noah's ark is a myth, and a scientific impossibility. Proponents claim it was possible because of all sorts of divine special exceptions, which begs the question, why wouldn't god have simply snapped his fingers, wiped out all the people, and left Noah and the animals untouched. Why all the melodrama?
Answer:
It made for a better tale.
