Drop the drug abuse, legalise prostitution and make it safe, and you've got a good person without religion.
Barring that, seek proffecional help.

Dear Meli_Gir !!!
I can understand your worry about your sister.
1) You did not tell us how long she was a drug addict. This is because, if she was on drugs and pros, the possible damage to her lungs, kidneys , liver and digestive system, ovaries, uterus and to Heart will be considerable. Whether there is a point of return or not has to be known medically. I know generally they will not cooperate for investigations.
2).There are two issues. first one is her physical health status as of now, today.
The second one was her mental status. As of today.
Once we gauge these two, we will have to plan as what we should do next.
3). We have to respect her moral values 100% now, and should not contradict or negate and never to argue with her, telling her she is wrong. We have to win her confidence first, and then only she will accept as her well wisher. So there should be no attempt right now to criticize her and exhibit as a culprit among her friends, relatives or family members. This does not mean to encourage her with further doses of drugs or drinks or prostitution. We need to keep with patience.
4). Then slowly one by one we have to know what are the sufferings she is subjected to and counsel her in such a way, that she will just follow what ever is told to her. Medically give her treatment and by our good words, and some breathing techniques, physical exercises, counseling, Homoeo medicines which have a very deep effect on mind nd psychology are to be given.
5) First of all a desire to live must be created in her.
If you are really serious, I will try to help you and your sister. As you told it is only the Almighty/God alone can save her. But Almighty works through people like us. So we have to take upon the challenge on behalf of the God and sincerely, and with out selfishness work for her. I am certain 100% that he can be saved from this vicious cycle.
My good wishers and flow of positive energy to you to be brave, contained and act with discretion.

i think you are right. if shes gone to therapist and she still is like this then thats not gonna work. if it was goin to you would have seen some improvement by now. i agree with you that she should definetly go see a priest but thats gonna be a problem since she wont go into a church. what if you talk to a priest about her and what you should do and see what he says. talk to him about your sister and he will help you. he could go talk to her outside of the church she doesnt have to go into the church. rehab would probably be good to but i dont know how much that will help. your probably the best person who could help her by doing something. religion may be the only thing that can save her if doctors arent. i really hope you can help her out because it must be really hard on you and its not good for either of you.

Maybe it's best right now that she go into some kind of rehab, then after that a program that can help her stay off drugs and stop prostituting.
I wouldn't coerce her with beliefs, just maybe mention that it may be a good idea and that the option to see a priest or pastor is an option.
If you're religious then she may look up to your example and then decide she may want to be more involved with church or religion. Good luck to you and her. I hope everything works out for the best.

Tough place to be --- for both of you. Unless she wants help, you are going to have hell on your hands. While I too am religious (Catholic) I think that she needs more than a priest. She needs re-hab and a good check up with a doctor.
You can get great advise by calling a counselor at any of the re-hab centers. Take a look at www.411intervention.com for help, guidance and advice. I'd be interested to find out how you and she do with this ---- you will be in our prayers.

romans chapter 6 deals with slavery to desires you may like to read it over when you further consider your delima also IItimothy 3:6 may help curb the sharp tone in the "drug abussing prostitute" attitude.
if i were in her position i do not think i could allow someone to save me from sin just by delivering me to judgement.
christ is a bearer of understanding and compassion im sure you love your sister but your posting looks a bit harsh. try to think of her as a hostage before you think of her as a harlot.

Don't pressure her, just love her as a sister. If you do place any pressure on her she will end up pushing you away and you will loose her all together from your life.I don't think she is that stupid knowing your good intentions because you love her. Give her some time and she get over this lifestyle soon most working girls and guys do just be there for her.

Try a drug treatment program, help her get a stable job, explore her life decisions with her, and ultimately help her develop a plan to achieve goals. I think that will work better then a sermon once a week.

I would recommend that you, your siblings and close friends plan an intervention and persuade her to go to a long term period rehabilitation center, but you need to understand that you can only offer her the help, she is the ONLY one that can help herself. She will definitely need all the support including religious support aswell. Hope everything works out :-)

OK. WHAT YOU AND YOUR FAMILY NEED TO DO IS HAVE AN INTERVENTION. TELL HER YOU ARE GOING SOMEWHERE LIKE TO SOME OFFICE AND YOU NEED SOMEONE TO GO W YOU. BUT WHEN YOU ARRIVE AND ENTER, YOU AND YOUR SIS ARE FACE TO FACE WITH THE FAMILY. HAVE EVERY PERSON STAND AND SAY SOMETHING ABOUT THE WAY SHE IS NOT ONLY EFFECTING THEIR LIVES, BUT ALSO HERS. SHOW HER THAT PROSTITUTION IS NOT THE ONLY WAY TO MAKE ENDS MEET, AND EXPLAIN HOW DRUGS WILL RUIN HER FUTURE. GIVE HER EXAMPLES OF THINGS THAT HAVE HAPPEND TO OTHERS WHO HAVE MESSED WITH THOSE 2 HORRID HABBITS. GOD BLESS

She has to want to help herself before anyone or anything can help her. Sorry I wish I had better advise, but, Ive seen it too many times. She has to have something really scare her to change her.
