I sure am. I know it's bs, but wouldn't it be great?! There will be no more Christians on earth! Think of everything we can get accomplished. I think the rapture is a little misunderstood. I think it will be the beginning of a Utopian society. Although, the R & S section would get kind of boring....

"slack jawed WTF-ness" is probably the best line I've ever heard. You just made my day!

I think it would be amusing if it were the atheists and agnostics who got "raptured" up...and the Rapture Ready people would be staring at the sky in slack-jawed WTF-ness.

Yup. R&S would be different. I heard the Mayan end date of 12/21/12 wasn't really 'the end'-their calender just ended on that date. Since it is supposed to be a significant day in time, I'm kinda hoping it's the Day of Rapture for the same reasons as you. I wonder what American and European life will be like w/o their influence. Exciting to think about, huh?

I don't think the Rapture applies to lapsed Catholics who morphed into a kind of mind-thine-own-business Christian, either. But don't worry - I get a lot accomplished in my own little corner of the world, and I don't bother people about what I believe or what they believe. Why, you won't even know I'm here.

My friend, you are ever learning, but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. I know you are trying to be funny, but the wrath of God as described in the Holy Bible is a fearsome day. And all who take the mark of the beast will be condemned. And without the mark you cannot buy or sell. I am prepared to suffer if God waits on the rapture, but are you? I have the hope of glory, but what hope do you have?

they do no longer seem to think of it by too intently. think of that they are making use of down a throughway, while between 25% and 50% % of the drivers of alternative autos all of sudden vanished - on an identical time, an identical proportion of airline pilots, air site visitors controllers, practice engineers, regulation enforcement officers, firefighters, and communications human beings vanished. between the survivors of the rapture aftermath will upward thrust up a guy with a plan to take administration tell anyone what he thinks they could desire to do....

Oh sure it sounds great, but what if we are the ones raptured and we have to go up and sing choir songs while the Xians get to stay down here and have all the fun?

Call me crazy but...... If the rapture came to pass that would be proof of a God. If you witnessed this "rapture" you too would know there is God and would no longer be an atheist because of that fact. Hell now I'M confused.

I think this a bit insulting.
If a Christian said they couldn't wait until all the atheists left earth, or what not, you would probably accuse them of being arrogant, ignorant and small mined.
Just because we have different values, beliefs and views doesn't mean we aren't all human. Let's respect each other.

There is no rapture so you might as well get use to the Christians and we will continually remind you we are still here

I am not hoping the rapture is coming any more than I'm composing my letter to Santa.
