that looks so abnormal. I had a blood test done yesterday an FBE and my Iron levels continue to go down, now it is low and falling for no reason. I feel like I have the flu everday. After I drink water I get bad diarea. The specimen was taken to the lab today to check for any abnormalities. I feel like my bowel cancer is back with avengence. And this time it is somuch worse. I have a feeling something is wrong. I am know worried about death as I know where I am going but the proccess of it. I am so tired in the mornings I do not want to get out of bed, and then when I go to get up I lay down and fall back to sleep again. This happens a lot. Please pray christians for me if God is going to take me home soon then please pray that I have a right standing with him before I go home. christians do you feel in your sprit that God will take me home soon too? I look forward to going home, and leaving this dull world which has given me nothing but trouble. So christians will you pray for me?

I'm getting a headache over this kind of stuff. Seriously, I learned all about evolution, natural selection, and all that stuff in school. I learned about creation at church. It was fine and everyone was happy.

What changed? This is silly.

Some Protestants say only the written Word of God.

Catholics, Orthodox, and some Protestant Christians state on the foundation of the Apostles.

Which is it and give biblical, or other proofs of your convictions.
No offense meant for either side of this debate.

The following statement from the Bible supports the Islamic belief that Jesus (pbuh) was a prophet of God. "Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know." [The Bible, Acts 2:22]
The Bible does not support the Christian belief in trinity at all. One of the scribes once asked Jesus (pbuh) as to which was the first commandment of all, to which Jesus (pbuh) merely repeated what Moses (pbuh) had said earlier: "Shama Israelu Adonai Ila Hayno Adonai Ikhad."
This is a Hebrew quotation, which means: "Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord."
[The Bible, Mark 12:29]

when its obvious that the british are a far superior lot. After all, we gave the world democracy, the english language, the computer, the telephone, television, the jet engine, the postal service, the police force, penicillin, the self-loading rifle, the industrial revolution, standardised time and the railways. What did america give the world? Thats right, hamburgers, tv evangelists and schoolyard massacres. ooooh!

Why would you want to go to heaven.

'When we've been there ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We've no less days to sing God's praise,
Than when we first begun. '

It sounds pretty horrid to me, personally I'd rather spend an eternity in torturous pain.

You tell me to repent and save myself, that I'm sinning and will go to hell, but none of you seem to understand that if these places do exist I'd rather be in hell than heaven.

What's so great about heaven?

I live in Australia and only just realised this is the case when a few suburbs away from where I live the papers stated that a few paedophiles in the area were being questioned over a recent sexual assault on a primary school girl. I was so shocked.

Does anyone know?

i just read a question about religions not allowing blood transfusions (the case was an accident that happened out of the blue)and some answers confused me. one parent said that his/her child had a bible conscience and wanted to live forever. well sorry but how does a 4 or 5 year old understand this? ( i mean really understand it,not just repeating whatever the parent told him) have these kids been told they will go to hell if they dont agree?

conditional responsibility for a child to show unconditional love for a God?even though the bible was written thousands of years ago where blood tranfusion was not known?

According to Kings 7:23, the circumference of a circle is diameter x 3 ("circular in shape, measuring ten cubits from rim to rim and five cubits high. It took a line of thirty cubits to measure around it").

But according to modern mathematics, the circumference of a circle is the diameter x PI which is (when rounded to 5 decimal places) 3.14159.

So does this mean that modern mathematics goes against the word of God? Or is it more a case that it was simplified to be easier to understand back then?

I wonder how much else was simplified.

Anyone know when making the Sign of the Cross became standard Christian ritual ?

(( If there's anyone who doesn't know, the Sign of the Cross is accomplished as the fingertips of one (usually right) hand,
touch (1) forehead [mind],
touch (2) chest [heart/body],
touch (3) left shoulder,
touch (4) right shoulder [soul/spirit],
and sometimes touch (5) lips.

"In the name of the (1) Father, and the (2) Son, and the (3) Holy (4) Spirit, (5) Amen." ))

....that Earth is the only inhabited planet in the Universe?

The question that always comes up from those of the ilk that believes such nonsense is usually,
"Well if there is inteligent life why don't they contact us?"
can be simply answered in the assumption that these life forms that have the capability to contact us are of advanced intelligence and simply "know better" than to make contact with such a primitive, warring species.

Perhaps the analogy can be made in comparision to any one of us going into the jungle and trying to communicate with wild boar.

What might be the resulting consequences of that?

How can a supposed "intelligent mind" come to the conclusion that throughout the entire expanse of this Universe, we are the "best" that could come from either some Intelligent Design or a random fluke?

Is there any logic in the idea that the Universe exists solely to perplex us?
