I know u might be tempted but pls dont laugh at people´s belief coz, feith moves them to do things, sometimes to become better persons...so feith is a sacred thing I think we should respec, even if we dont share whatever they say

It is worrying that somme people don't read the books of there own religion but isn't worrying that they don't need to research the truth or validity of it have you ever read the bible the stories are pretty far fetched and a little weird and contradictory supposedly the bible was written by moses and he wasn't a good speaker and may have misenterpeted the word of god and then when they converted it to english they may have screwed up again I find it intersting when they go back to the middle east and try and find important locations from the bible but other then that I couldn't care less.
I don't think your being snooty it's just a question but faith is impossible to prove and pretty easy to make strong arguments agaist it so until there are hard fax faith is faith and I believe in the main rules and find the rest of the book just interesting. The scary part is zealots and they come from every were even the holier then thou atheist(LOL) no offense to them but the research is welcome but I hold no faith in it!

Just because I believe a rock is a spoon doesn't make it one. These brainwashed, brain dead religionists are all going to die in their ignorance and intolerance. I hope that their bible goes with them because I don't need a book or a vestment clad child molestor to make me feel better about myself or my lot in life. And the whole lord of the rings that is Christianity is just an excuse to hate everyone who isn't. By the way, every other religion is full of **** too.

I suppose a little worrying yes. But since we are all imperfect, we should look to God's perfect Word for guidance. But that is often taken out of context by all of us humans...yeah me included. So even though it says it TONS of places that the devil will allow those who petition or ask or pray to him that he will allow them to do extraordinary things, so it also says that these we are to guard ourselves against. In Matthew 24:24 and Mark 13:22 Jesus Himself says, "For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and miracles to deceive even the elect," (those who already believe-[parenthetical statement mine])--"if that were possible."

The one I found the most bizarre was the person who thought the Necronomicon was a holy book for some religion. I thought everybody knew *that* was fiction! LOL!

No, You are being cynical not snooty. You've never felt what I've felt so how could you be otherwise. If youre trying to explain away something as beautiful as a miracle there is something wrong with your heart

Not too much. I luckily don't meet these people in real life too often, but, when I do I try my best to ridicule the number of paradoxes ( or is the plural paradise ) that they must encounter daily.

You can't fix them any more than they can fix you. I do find it odd how they have blind faith.
I look at it this way. Most people are sheep who want to be told what to do and how to act. Natural disasters prove that theory. I look at these people as sheep. They even call themselves that and refer to their congregations as flocks.

reminds me of the pastor in one version of "the war of the worlds". Fella thought the rapture had happened, and that he wasn't taken--lost his faith--never able to come to grips with what was going on had nothing to do with religion.
