It depends how badly I wanted to be elected. It's a terrible thing that this is even an issue in this country. A person's religion or lack of should have to bearing in that person's politics. People aren't even honest about it, so it shouldn't matter. If we are ever to have true separation of church and state in this country, this practice has to stop whereby people must state their religion.

I would announce if asked, but then make sure that people knew that there was more to me than that. I'd ask that they didn't vote for ANY candidate based on their beliefs or lack thereof, and instead vote for them based on the most pressing issues facing the district in which I was running for office.

I can't think of any reason they need to announce it, unless it was not obvious in the way they lived thier life. In that case, what would be the point?

A, at the risk of losing the Muslim vote. Few of them are hot on apsotasy. I'm just glad I don't live in Texas.

I would say whatever my campaign managers told me to say and try my very best never to deviate from my professionally prepared speeches or to ad lib on my own.

c. Simply because If worded correctly, people would find this to be a more honorable decision- and judge me by me instead of for the glory of my Jesus.
