I just read this on someones profile. However it seems to be a contradiction in terms. What is your opinion?

I am a Post-Apocalyptic Preterest Evangelical Christian. I believe that Satan and other chief devils have been destroyed, hell has been overthrown, and we are living in a time in which only those who were raptured are aware of these changes in the other dimension.

They way i see it is that the biblical sense of demons has not been defeated in the spiritual realm. But as christians we do not walk in that victory until we apply the blood of the Lord Jesus and begin walking in His authority.

The councelling rooms show this.

Preterists view the prophecies of the book of Revelation as having already occurred. Fortunately for this person, he's in for a few surprises. The work of Christ at the cross is complete. Satan has been defeated, and he is furious because he knows his time is short. The shed blood of Jesus Christ is our protection, our righteousness, and our weapon against Satan and his minions.

Personally I am not a rapture person, I might believe half of what he says but he ruins it with the rapture.
It only defeats itself there, at that point, to what I can see, other than that, it makes sense (not saying its true or not just that it could be a statement).
I don't see how it conflicts itself, but it is a little interesting, a little funny, and very different than common place belief.

I think it's funny that someone wants to "apply the blood of the Lord," as if it's in a bucket and someone is using it on a brush.
