It is that they treat women as second-class citizens, through their religious dogma or by sheer intimidation, thus denying them the same rights and same access to higher education, or as ministers, priests or rabbis or as political decision makers within the system, etc. And this discrimination they claim is sanctioned by their interpretations of their scriptures.
The question is why?
I mean, I’ve read my King James over and over and found no such justifications or excuses for treating women this way. What are these people seeing (or should I say inventing) that I can not see?
