Or do you stay by yourself without company?

I am a stay-at-home Grandma, and I see Hubby, Sonny, his partner, Jay, their baby, and the two grandsons that currently live with me. That adds up to 6. Once in awhile Jay's mother and grandmother come to visit the baby, so that would be 8.

Sonny and family are moving to the new house we are buying them, and one grandson has quit college and moving home, so that will bring it down to Hubby and one grandson, unless I happen to go shopping, which is very rare.

Hubby, 2 daughters, 2-3 grandchildren depending on the day of the week, daughters fiancee 3-4 times a week for dinner, ex son-in-law 1-2 times a week, Butch the mailman, 3 older neighbor ladies I check on several times a week then at least once a week a major shopping expedition, library expedition those are the main daily sightings of others.
I would go out less if it were only me and hubby. I like peace and quiet and reading.

Well, I still work FT, therefore see over 100 people/day just at work. I usually see one or two of my neighbors also...then I go home and see my 'cat-person'! LOL

Weekends, aside from passing neighbors, strangers when out and about, I usually see my mom and my best friend; but to be honest, there are some weekends, I see NO ONE...except maybe through my windows....just staying in and enjoying me, my kitty, a beautiful day and solitude.

Unfortunately, it's just me and my hubby, and our two little dogs. They keep us laughing with their playfulness much of
the day. They help to keep me sane, and not get down into the
doldrums. I'm more at home now than in years past, due to
stiffness and nerve damage from a car wreck well over a
year ago. So I keep busy doing searches and emailing and
YA, when I am not trying to do some cleaning project in our
townhouse. My senior friends are active and one still works,
since she chose to, to pay off a kitchen remodeling. Time
seems to go by too fast anymore, and everyone I know keeps
busy.
Occasionally one of them will drop by, but that's maybe once a month. I used to be a life in the party and still want to
have social activity. But I'm resigned to my situation.

I'm 70. I choose to stay by myself for the most part because I love to write and that is more fun for me than a lot of boring conversation with people talking behind each others backs and complaining about their aches and pains. Life is more than that to me. There are things I enjoy and I go out to meet and talk with people when I feel like it so I see the people I want to see for the reasons I want to see them. I do not enjoy a lot of people around me constantly. It's a distraction.

I don't see any - I've lived alone for the last 16 years and slowly whittled down visitors so I get none - except an old acquaintance who comes once a week to post my mail and collect anything I can't have delivered.

It's a lovely life - I never thought I'd reach this stage, or this age - but I knew I could get addicted to silence and solitude. Don't knock it.

Coffee every morning with friends.
Talking to other dog owners walking their dog/dogs.
Visiting almost every afternoon at our community hang out, very small ag. town. The only time we stay home is when it rains,102% or below freezing. Chatting on the phone (to long). Twice a month we go grocery shopping or what ever.

I see my neighbor walking her dog. Sometimes I see 3 or 4
people when I walk my dogs. Some days I meet up with my friends at the pool. I really enjoy my time alone though and
never get bored...always something to do....paint, garden etc.
What an interesting question.

Anywhere from 70 to 100, but I only treat about 30 to 50 of them. I am a school nurse.
