i mean to say that why do the unmuslims (hindos) worship the stone idols. they think that these idols have created them but what kind of creater they are becouse they by themself can not move cannt talk cannt hear cannt see and can not do anything so how can they create humans. But this is true that the humans have created them and im thinking about those fools who creates the stone idols and say that the idols have created them and they worship those stones.

What does this statement mean to you as a Bible reader ? Just curious, in my daily devotions I often come across things I like put into modern language so I come here and ask. and of course with reference to the Holy Bible the Christians use.

Genesis 1:26 of the Holy Bible, King James Version, states: “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.” Please note “us” and “our”, meaning God is plural. There are more than one person in God.

Genesis 1:27 states: “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” Please note that here, God is singular – “his” and “he”. Initially, God created he (man) in His image. Next, God created them as male and female. Initially, God seemed to have created man to be a spirit like Him, like His image. Next, God created this spirit to dwell in physical bodies which are male and female.

Then God blessed them. Genesis 1:28 states: “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the ear, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”

I consider myself a Christian and was brought up to believe in God. But I have no wish whatsover to live for ETERNITY anywhere no matter how heavenly it may be. So does that make me unchristian..can you pick and choose.

I recently finished the God Delusion and found the man treated his supposed target audience (people who are not athiests) would utter contempt and seemed to delight in rediculing them at every turn. Didn't really make for a challenging book, which is sad because some of the arguements were very well laid out. It becomes pretty clear why people consider him a fundamentalist. Anyway, I'd just like to know if all of his books are written this angrily or just the God Delusion?

There is such a thing as Past Life Regression, people are mentally transported back to a previous existence.

When you die you either go to Heaven or Hell, so if we have already died - where are we?

Do you think this is Heaven? Or is it Hell?

During the day she is perfectly normal. She is a little slow but that is something that comes with age a lot of times. At night she gets really antzy. She rocks in the rocking chair really fast. She will walk to different parts of the living room and just rest there. She will sit in the recliner, moan, groan, and talk to herself. She was watching a commertial and they said "pink" and she just kept saying "pink." When they said "blue" she kept saying "blue." She claims she can't sleep but she never tries. What could it be? I have never seen this kind of behavior before. (Well, I have seen her do it a lot, but not in anyone else.)

Im only 22 and since the first day ive known about rap ive had not even a speck of respect for them. As for as i can tell they are the number 1 influence creating bad kids, retarded language/slang, and flat out crap fashion. Sagging looks like kids took a crap in their pants, their language makes them seem like they skipped school their whole life. When kids are sleeping to music with dark themed techno in the background and lyrics that consist of killing people, doing drugs, getting revenge, and trying to explain reasons in which cheating or being a "player" is good, as well as labeling females as 2nd class beasies, and i wont name the other 2 names. Its definitely no wonder, we have a higher percentage of crime per person in terms of our population than alot of other countries. I dont care if 90% of our country loves rap, from what i can see, rap, sagging, and even alot of heavy metal which is pro drugs alot of the time, needs to be completely illegal to those under 17-18.

My name is Christina and it really irritates me when people call me Chris, Chrissy, Tina 'Teen' (for goodness sake!). I know a lot of people don't let it bother them, it's just a personal quirk for me. Does it ever bother you, particularly if the alternative is something really naff.?

Just wondering. I know someone who works with gemstones and claims to be able to heal and meditates with these gems and they "speak" to him. This is a different religion then me...or something, but I was wondering how credible this is. Is this in the bible? Just need some input here, thanks.

This maybe a little difficult to understand and embarassing for me, but I have trouble reading Arabic in the Holy Qu'ran. I can't read it because of............

many reasons. My mother can read but cannot teach me, and my dad doesn't even pray. And I grew up in many countries in Europe and East Asia and couldn't really find people to actually teach me. And even if I did, I didn't like them.

I pray based on the verses I memorized taught by my mother.

I fast during Ramadan when situations are best, such that I can do my work effectively, especially considering I do not get any holidays or incentives in a non Muslim majority country. My life is fast and at times hectic.

Does that make me a good Muslim? Or a Muslim by definition?

What exactly is a cowboy?

Did cowboys really existed or did they only exist in the movies? Are you considered a cowboy only if you ride horses and carry revolvers?

Do cowboys still exist today?

Why do some people so unkindly brand George W Bush a cowboy? Why is it other people are not branded as such? Is it also true just because you are an American, you are a cowboy?
