I thought it humorous when Samson kept sending Delila off in the wrong direction.
And then in JOB when God asked Satan "and where have you been?"

The Bible is more of a history book than a comedy. Humor and laughter come from the relationship itself. Do you know him?

I once had a mini-argument with God over whether or not I had any Swiss Miss left in the kitchen cupboard. He won.

there is actually quite a lot of humour in the bible, you just have to know how to look for it. there are even many books written about the bible's sense of humour. the two main reasons why people never pick up on it is because much of biblical humour is sarcastic and ironic, and people normally take the bible too seriously to notice when humour is being used, and also much of the humour is based on word plays, which means it gets lost in translation.

here is a link for you to read which introduces humour in the bible:

reading about biblical humour is very interesting because it really puts the stories into a brand new light.

There's plenty of humor in the bible. You just don't see it, because you don't understand the culture and language of the time. One example would be when the prophet Elisha was challenging the god of another man, and the god was not responding to Elisha, so Elisha said, sarcastically, "Perhaps he is occupying." In the language of Elisha's culture, the word "occupying", in our language today, would mean "busy taking a dump on the toilet".
I would suggest reading the link below as a start.

There is a lot of humor in the Bible.

Abraham tried to bargain with God in an effort to save Sodom, and talked Him down to "If only 10 righteous men" could be found, God would spare it - and you know what? They couldn't find even 10, so God smoked 'em. Now THAT'S funny.

there is humor in the Bible. Did you know that the first recorded case of PMS is in the Bible? It says that Mary rode Joseph's a-ss all the way to Bethlehem.

A lot of the things that modern, right-wing Christians use in arguments is actually misinterpreted satire. I hope.

There is no need for laughter or merriment in our story!
"But, sir"
NIEN! NO MERRIMENT AT ALL!

A nice little tidbit; assuming there is a god, the bible has been proven historically itself to be uncredible. Look it up, gurd dernit!
