Think about it! If you have all knowledge in and about the universe, past, present and future, how can your existence be meaningful or interesting?

What is the point of existing or living if you know everything about your life (from birth to death)? I think life is interesting because I don't know what will happen in the future!

Newton discovered the law of gravitation? He must have been very happy to be the first to realize this, he was religious man. I am sure he thanked god.

God must have uttered, "what the heck I invented gravity and you are wrong, gravity is not a force, it's a curvature of space-time."

"Yawn"

If you know everything and are perfect, what is left for you to do? Wouldn't you be bored to death?

I've been told the more enlightened I become, the more I will be forced into celibacy.

I don' wanna be celibate !! =8-{

So I'm thinking I need some adult female-type volunteers willing to help me conduct an experiment: Can Orion achieve complete enlightenment and in no way, shape or form be described as "celibate"?

Do you think my plan needs more work?

I am an aspiring Christian and have begun to read my bible more thoroughly, and I noticed that in Genesis 9:1 it says that Noah and his sons must reproduce the world, doesn't there have to a female for this to work?

Thanks!

If Christ had the power to be and do anything... why didn't he become into a better, more convincing and fluent preacher, as good as he needed to, to spread his message flawlessly and without impediments?. I'm not talking about changing people thoughts with telepathy or anything disturbing people's so-called free-will. He could have done better, that's what i think, and he failed miserably in his attempt to convince people he was the messiah.

"Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by rulers as useful."

Lucius Annaeus Seneca "the Younger," Roman stoic philosopher, writer, and politician (4-65 ACE).

**Remember this person lived during (4-65 ACE).. at the time, I would imagine, the common people were the people who would have been uneducated.

It's clearly inconceivable that a human being could just exist, with nothing being responsible for its existence, so how is it logical to suppose that something infinitely more advanced than a human being - an intelligent creator of the universe - does exactly that?

This is a cultural question, not a racial one. I find that when I deal with Indians they are always believing they are being fooled no matter how low the price of something is. Is it just me or is this something common in India (being scammed) so when they come here they really have their guard up?

why do you say That I dont understand and that I have not looked into your reasons. I was svaed 10 years ago. when my fiancee died, I was very upset needless to say, my pastor told me he was in Hell. I have done nothing the last few years but study your beliefs and other religions. I wanted answeres, I wanted to know why God would send a good man to hell. and what is the best way to learn? its to live it. And I did, I even became a psychic for awhile, to learn and understand why they believe what they believe. I did a very good Job at it to. but you know what I have found out in all my study? That God Is real, he does excist, I still have questions, I still study, but there is no doubt that God is real and he loves every one of us. how many of you have really lived the life in the other people shoes to learn why they believe the way they do? or do you just read a book and choose your beliefs that way?

Peter Berkowitz wrote this piece called 'The New New Atheism' - good article from my rather biased perspective.

Isn't atheism developing into a dogma?

Wanted to ask something so I could show off my new name - what do you think JP? I know the R&S style council leadership, headed by Jack B, will not approve, which makes me sad.

I visualize the energy of my resentment leaving my body and going out into the universe. For forgiveness, I have been visualizing the person in question across from me with energy streaming between us. I picture white light severing that energy as I tell them I forgive them. Then to some (that I have some understanding of) I send love energy from my heart chakra to them. Please share yours or feel free to use mine!

What does it mean when someone waves their left hand by the their left ear? Also do know of any good websites where I can learn some basics. I work with the public and have a customer that is deaf and sometimes he is really nice other times he is nasty. I would like to learn a little bit to communicate better with him. I only know how to say Thank you and spell sorry.

Christianity says that only those who believe in jesus are pure while the rest are sinned. Similar is the saying in Islam with allah. Then why is it that Jesus and Allah allow births in the other religions in the first place and thus giving rise to sinners. If he , the god wants other people to convert to his religion and follow him and him alone, then why does the all powerful he allows people to be born in other religions.

If you love someone, does that mean you have to absolutely adore every aspect about them? (including smelly feet, annoying habits, etc...)

Than why is it so hard to accept the concept that Christians love everyone, but not nessesarily approve of & adore certain behaviors they exhibit?
