He symbolises the pinnacle of bhakti, and Hindus consider him to be the eleventh Rudra avatar of Lord Shiva.[11] He is more well-known as the (spiritual) Son of Vayu deva, the Hindu deity of the wind.

Hanuman is the epitome of wisdom, brahmacharya, bhakti (devotion/faith), valour, righteousness and strength. His indispensable role in reuniting Rama with Sita is likened by some[attribution needed] to that of a teacher helping an individual soul realise the divine.

There is no blessing that he cannot bestow—according to the Hanuman Chalisa, Sita granted him the power to bestow the eight siddhis and nine types of wealth on others. However, the greatest boon one can ask of Hanuman is the uplifting spiritual qualities that he himself is known for.

He is easily reachable — just by chanting the name 'Ram'. Conversely, it is also held that the easiest way to attain Lord Rama is to worship Hanuman — verse 33 of the Hanuman Chalisa begins, "Tumharae bhajan Ram ko paavae", which means "by singing hymns about You, we reach Rama".

Hanumanji is a Chiranjeevi. He is Still living and will live till this earth lives. So he is still in the Himalayas. Not only there, but also in any place where Ramas name is heard, and the Ramayana is recited.
The last few slokas of Ramayana says where Hanuman is.

" Aanjaneya Madipaatalananam Kanchanathri Gamaneeya Vigraham, Paarijaatha Darumoola Vaasinam, Bhavayami Bavamana Nandanam"

" Yatra Yatra Ragunatha Keerthanam, Thatra Thatra Krutha Mastva Kaanjanim, Baashpavari paripoorna lochanam, Maaruthim Namatha Rakshasanthakam"

Wherever Lord Rama is Sang, Ill be there.

It is the belief of every Hindu that Lord Hanuman is a Chiranjeevi means living for ever.

It is also our belief where ever Ramayana is taught or sung Hanuman presents himself. Sant Tulasi found Hanuman like that and through him reaches Rama.

Hanuman...Ha-nu-man, the Yes Saying mind is one of the attributes of the son of the Wind... Whatsoever God...Rama...wills, Hanuman is ready to oblige...Rama is an incarnation of Narayana or Mahavishnu, the Preserver, and so his work is continuous in preserving this world...if His work is finished, then we would stop to exist...man and his world are constantly Evolving. Hanuman, gives us the strength to say Yes or to accept what God brings into our experience...the Now...our Karma...and deal with it in dignity, respect and patience. That is why it is said that as long as man lives in his ignorance, Hanuman will exist giving strength to all of God's devotees...and so he still lives in this existence helping His devotees.
