And yet their successive Governments have brought upon themselves nothing but hatred and contempt throughout the world.
Isn't it about time someone exposed the nicer side of the USA instead of decrying it all the time?

When they are at the age to accept or reject the LORD God of the Holy Bible, the Word of God.

I have young ones who love God. How to prepare them to make the right choice when entering the age of accountability (teen years)?

The world constantly tell them that the bible isn't true, etc. And Christians believe in Jesus. So, they get both, but too often more of the rejection of God from the world.

So? How can we prepare them to make the right choice?

Now i know there's nothing wrong with lively debate, but what is with all the judgements flying around here just now? And I'm talking particularly to Christians.
Now, Ok, i might be one too, and i am far from perfect, and i judge people sometimes, and i shouldn't, and so on.

But i don't think i've ever bothered to type out a question inferring things like "What do Atheists do to help people, cos i'm a Christian and i help but i bet you all don't".

I'm trying to phrase this without "casting stones" myself, but maybe, just maybe, a lot more non-Christians would be inclinced to pay a bit more attention to the Christians if they were a little bit less self-righteous (which i'm sorry if i'm coming across as now, but i know i do it too..) and a little less judgemental?

What do you think? Am i right, Christians? And how about all you Atheists? Would you have more respect for people who didn't have pre-conceived ideas about you? Or does it really not make that much difference?

Don't be so sure you know the answer. Double check; you just might be surprised what Scripture says a tithe is, and to whom it applies.

strength, then to love others as yourself; To submit to God first, then your loved ones & neigbors, etc.;

Does that make obedient Christians 'Muslims' of the LORD God? That they trust & obey (submit) to God.

If you look at the definition of the word 'Muslim'.

Is it important that you make a conscious effort to make your work environment as stable as possible? Should you go the extra mile not to make waves with your office mates, drive like a maniac in the parking lot or clean up after yourself in the break room etc.....

I beleive it is. Because if you don't you will begin not to only hate your job, but your existence as well.

When I was a child in the late 60's, early 70's I remember the local pub had a door that led to a special partitioned area, like a small corridor that led to the bar. It was separated from the public and saloon bars with frosted glass and tiled walls (from the Edwardian era). My Aunty would pop in there to buy cigarettes I seem to recollect & if I was lucky I'd get some crisps. I have mentioned this to several people, but nobody knows what I am talking about. Does anybody else remember these in pubs and if so what were they called and do any still exist?

How can that be when the people are reading from books and partaking in witchcraft in the movie. So if your watching the film obviously you condone what they practice and teach in the film. Many children would not understand why they couldn't make believe they were witches and use wands etc...but they're family allows them to watch Harry Potter, which enforces magic and sorcery.

How can you say its different to practice sorcery, but yet you watch people who do? Your just the same as them, they wouldn't make shows about sorcery and magic if they knew people wouldn't come to see it.

The other day as I was leaving the doctors office, I took my first antibiotic pill. It was called Avelox, I have never been on it. I had my mom and 3 of my four children in the car with me. I was driving. About 15 minutes after taking the pill I started to feel very funny. My eyes started watering, my head started "buzzing" and I just felt out of it. My mom told me to pull over and she would drive, but I said that I was fine and not to worry. Well, my face got red and I started to itch all over. My heart was racing. I pulled over. My mom took the wheel and gradually I got worse. I had all these hives and I started to swell very badly. We were not in an area that we knew well, so my mom pulled over and called 911. By the time the rescue squad arrived, my tongue and mouth and throat started to swell. I was thinking, "God, not now, I am only 29". I recieved 3 doses of epi-pen and more! God spared me. Has this happened to you? Life is too short, be eternally grateful.

More churches a creating websites for their parish can use to tell their sins or confessions so that they would not have to come to the church to the confession booth. Because of the lack of priests in different churches , they are moving to close their churches confession booth and start these websites would you use it if your church started one?

It seems rarely does a question get any further responses after half an hour, so I'll clue you in now.

To repent, primarily means, to "turn to God". In the process, one abandons their former life-style, which was a life of sin. You may feel the distinction is minor, but I assure you it is not, for when a false teacher declares repenting is "turning from sin" they can in turn convince you to do certain things as a means of "turning from sin" and control you.

I said that Christians were responsible for the Inquisitions and the Crusades...I wrote this about a week and a half ago and still get about a letter a day, usually with the subject "Hey, Retard!" or something similar...

Did I miss something in my history classes? Are Catholics no longer considered Christians?

One of my answers was "lol" so I have no idea why that would be deleted and one of them was "maybe they were horny" which makes sense for that one, but oh well. Is it because they were in the religion section and some people are really sensitive? That's what I first thought, but I'm not sure.
