Yes it does.
The Arabic word the Prophet used to as a reference to people of the true religion of God was: Hanif. This was done regardless of their religion. Jesus was hanif, the followers of Jesus were hanif.
'Hanif' referred to the characteristics of people who were following in Abrahams foot steps, and in the true path that God had laid out for them: To worship only God, to believe in Only God, to submit to none other, and to bow to none other but God, who we cannot see, but who sees us.
Thus, according to Islamic history there were two kinds of Christians: those who followed in the true path, those who submit to God alone, and those who didnt. As far as the Quran is concerned, anyone who has submitted to God alone, is bound for heaven :)
Great question!

Ever wonder why must living human kind submit to oppression and slavery in idol worshiping the dead Mummy of failures and horrors of the past from the graveyards of different ancestor's custom in own backyards with a multi cultural society?
When the dead Mummy is not the creator of heaven and earth.?
But was past dirty old man like you and me who made blunders and slip-ups with human errors back in the past?
The blunders and slip-ups with human errors with communication problems with misinterpretation, miscommunication, communication failures and commumincation break-down with ghostly and deadly words.

Muslims (and Islam) say Jesus was a prophet but they reject all His teachings ....that is hypocrisy.
They reject Christ's diety;
they deny his claim to be the Son of God;
they deny his death on the cross...
they deny His resurrection..
They deny Jesus is the Christ/ Messiah...
In fact, the Quran says : "Allah has no son".
Need I say more...?
Don't be deceived. The Islamic god is totally different than the God of Jesus Christ.
The Bible calls Muhammed and those like him false prophets:
"Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is anti-Christ, that denies the Father and the Son. He that denies the Son, the same has not the Father." (I John 2:22)

yes being a muslim is to surrounder and to submit to God. but when people think of God as their Father the relationship here is different, we are God creators God servents and not God babies.
when you only love God but not fear him, then it means i don't have to ask for forgiviness, i will only ask for forgivines because i am being nice. we have to understand tha true relationship that we are God servents not God babies.
