Cos i really like wearing speedos swimming trunks (the bikini type) when going swimming in public pools. Im not trying to sedduce anyone but worried others might think that i am. and for your opinion, do those speedo swimming trnks make guys look gay? I love wearing them cos i just really feel comfortable wearing it, it feels so natural and light. And i feel proud of my body so im comfrtable in them. Im 20, and i have a body of a model. and women compliment me for my skin tone. But do you think i offend other people's senses when i wear them? i've never heard of any unpleasnt comments while wearing them but im worried people might be talkng behind my back. and i dnt want to appear impolite or ianappropriate to others. tnx

About a year ago, my troop began planning a trip to Yellowstone National Park for 2008. We set up a seperate committee incuding boys and adults. My scoutmaster though, is not in favor of the trip what-so-ever because he thinks that the cabin we are staying in is too nice for Boy Scouts. A few months ago he came to a Yellowstone committee meeting for the first time so far. The only thing that he said though is that he is banning all of the boys from the yellowstone meetings because it is not a trip that we should be planning. All of the other adults though want us to be there so that we can give our opinion on what we want to do on the trip. The adults do not want to tell him this because it will start an argument, and he may then try to cancel the whole trip. Also, every few days he will bring up the trip to us and he keeps telling us that if we do not raise enough money or have enough boys go, that we will not be going on the trip. Is it right for him to ban us all from the meetings?

Shouldn't it be considered plagerism at best?
Look at the story of creation for example. Taken, almost verbatim from the story of Gilgamesh. Flood myth and all.
Honestly, if more christians knew the history of their cult, there would be a LOT more atheists.
But knowing requires research and reading. I guess it's FAR easier to allow a con man at the pulpit to tell them what to think.

After all, Windows is very similar to our world......it was designed by a bunch of idiot designers, it often breaks, is energy-inefficient, requires prayer to make it work, has a ton of code that doesn't make any sense, has a great deal of conflicting components, and the system will eventually die.

But when something goes wrong it's either the work of the Devil or a person's free will?

If God is all-knowing and all-powerful, why do you give Satan or men the same abilities to change people's lives?

Also, if God knows everything that's ever going to happen, how exactly do we have free will? If everything that's ever going to occur is already laid out and known, how is that giving us a choice?

Personally, and this is strictly my opinion, I think that the Jehovahs Witness religion is odd. I am not just basing my judgement on what I've heard. The entire family on my fathers side belongs to that religion and I have many a times went to a sermon there. Here are some reasons why I think its crazy:

My sis broke a strung out, misfits, primus, and various other cds when she joined because of the use of curse words/

They wouldnt give a blood transfusion to save the life of their own child or loved one, wouldnt recieve one to keep them alive

Think all holidays, even ones celebrating God are of Pagan rituals and will not celebrate anything inc. birthdays

Sis wont watch Transformers, even though its rated pg, because they talk shortly about masturbation (shes 19 years old)

Walks door to door and tries to talk people into their religion and will not take no for an answer.

They will dis fellowship you and if you go to the church after being dis fellowshiped, no one can talk to u

Answer: It goes right up there with grammar. When people dont use correct grammer noone knows what the hell that they are trying to say you know like when there are run on sentences well just get mad and not understand but then all of a suddn peple stop speling corretly and then all meening is lost in the ? or anser and then i get all confussed about wat ppl r trying 2 say. I'm sorry, it just makes you look stupid when you can't spell certain words with a spell checker right there. Take the time to properly communicate your question or answer and folks can at least respect that.

Some times I could screen with fustration. I have been at my current job now for over 7 months and I feel like I no how to do my job pretty well now. However my work colleague who I work with acts although she is my boss. OK she has been here for a whole year longer than me, but does that give her the right to give me tasks to do? If she were to ask me to do a favour for her, I would happily do it, but I have a problem with being told what to do. Now that our real boss is on holiday- she sees this as an even bigger opportunity.

In my neighborhood people routinely throw their garbage right down on the sidewalk and walk away. Even if there's a trash can within view! It makes me really crazy; I often pick up garbage and litter that isn't mine and throw it away because it bothers me so much. How could you say something to the person from the point of view of trying to kindly educate them as opposed to making them mad? I'm sure not all of them are jerks, but I don't want an ugly confrontation, just a better way to deal with it.

I really dont like TV and not having cable gives me a reason to go outside and do things. I rent movies all the time but feel like people think its wierd. When I go hang with friends some people just sit/gather around the television. I think cable is a bunch of crap. An unnecssary pleasure that we don't need and the shows these days all matieralistic...What do you think?

Seriously, the whole "Only through me shall you see the Kingdom of Heaven" (paraphrased) thing was clearly about listening to what he had to say and living your life by it. Love thy neighbour/enemy and turn the other cheek, stuff like that?
