I try never to spend too much money on things that I can get for a lot less. The one thing that I try not to skimp on is food. I want my family to eat well.

Who says I buy expensive stuff? Heck, if I were to register for a wedding, I register at EVERYTHING'S A DOLLAR/DOLLAR TREE!
That's where I do my major Christmas shopping! That and 7-11 on Christmas Eve.
I bought a brown leather m/c vest for $8 at Goodwill in Portland, Oregon. And when folks comment on it, I TELL them where I bought it. They think I'm joking!

it is a generality, but if I need something, I will go for the most expensive I can get, the cost is often reflected by the durability of the product. In other words, you get what you pay for.

It's not intentional but everything I like is expensive. I just like nice things and if I'm lucky I can find things that are reasonable.

I dont personally. I despise paying a fortune for a name. The only thing this isnt the case for is guitars, and even then after about 1.5k your paying only for the name as they can only sound 'so' good... I personally find it a waste of money.
