unless you are going to the clackamas town center party in Oregon, go as batty old Mrs. Figg. Get a bathrobe, wear pajamas, and put your hair in curlers (I'm gonna be Mrs. Figg)

or get a cheap 60's top, curl your hair, wear a bunch of necklaces, and be sybil

your other choice, see if you can buy or borrow someones graduation top, go to a thrift store, get a marroon or gold sweater, wear jeans, and go as Ginny.

The internet is full of websites selling the classic Gryffindor student costumes. If that is not an option I think their robes look a lot like a black graduation gown. I'm going to see if my brother will give me his so I can make a costume out of it. I think Ginny Weasly usually had on a sweater and maybe a plaid skirt on under it. Good Luck!

What for?? After all the craze is over, your costume and 'money' spent would be lying in the attic. The money you spend on this costume could actually come in handy during 'rainy days'. So think wisely and carefully before you say you want this and that. Money don't come easy for your parents, you know?

In the movies there are times that the "kid" characters wear very normal cloths. Wear normal cloths, but have a wand sticking out of your back pocket & carrying an old diary.

I made a really simple black cape. And am wearing it over muggle clothes. It doesn't look half bad. Just buy a yard of black fabric from Walmart for like a buck.

Look it up on google or go to a sewing store in your area. They might have patterns.
