Most of questions get a canned answer and yes they are mainly from fellow believers. It really leads me to believe that you don't read the question and extra details.

You just type Jesus is Lord or something like that and that's it.

Why do you do that? If you actually took time to read the question and gave an objective answer you might not get picked on so much.

Comments?

In Heaven, will humans remain essentially humans or will we grow wings and become angels of God?

A lot of internal segregation has been occuring during the past decades: religious segregation, race segregation, chauvinist segregation, political segretation. And now -according to press note just released by Reuters- according to a study by the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore released in the Epidemiologic Reviews Magazine, by 2015 officially the USA will be a country of fat people, with 75% of the adults in above their required weight and 41% being diagnosed as obesed. So I was thinking to change its name from United States of America to Fat States of America. :D

All children are Jesus' children already. Jesus being our 'High Father'. So? Is there a special blessing with being sprinkled as a baby?

Certain Lutheran & Catholic Churchs baptize babies & don't necessarily believe in water baptism then as adults. Except for maybe when a teenager or adult is saved who wasn't baptized in their Church.

Religious Jews and Christians understand Judeo-Christian values is the only one that offers America any hope for the future...That being said Christians are rallying in a enormous way to fight the secularism and athiestic views many here in the USA are trying to lead America down.

Rod Parsley from World Harvest Church, Jay Seklew from the ACLJ are coming back with a vegenance that the Founding Fathers NEVER INTENDED to take religion out of USA Politics..Dennis Prager confronts Athiests that NOT ONE Athiest founded this country..

It seems like a race for souls.. Of course we know Satan is no match for GOD, but how do you see this playing out in the future coming years?

prove there is a god? It is the same as if I stated you have no intelligence. It is a statement that you either believe or not so why do you care if someone says there is no god? Or there is a god? It is the act of coercion to force another to believe what you believe which is wrong.

The giver of the gift told this one to simply believe and He will receive the gift of Life. This one could not believe that it could be so simple. Such a great gift HAS to have a high price attached to it. Still.. the Giver said.." the price has been paid in full". With a payment that satisfies the Giver completely

Why hate this God who has given us salvation freely through His Son's sacrifice. Is it that its too simple? Does complication appeal to us more?
I sat and asked myself this question. We will give ourselves to believe so many other things.. Even believe that there is NO God. Believe that we're ok in our existence, that there is not a deeper dimension to man's life and living on this earth.
What? Call upon the Name of the Lord and thats it? Believe in your heart and thats it? Seems to ridiculous, but its always been that simple. Believing is our receiving. Its so simple that its worth the try. You have nothing to loose. Simple is best. Give the Lord a try wil u?

"Jesus Freak"
by dc Talk

Album: Jesus Freak
Artist Info: Discography
Song Clip: Real Audio

Separated I cut my self clean
From a past that comes back in my darkest of dreams
Been apprehended by a spiritual force
And a grace that replaced all the me I've divorced

I saw a man with a tattoo on his big fat belly
It wiggled like marmalade jelly
It took me awhile to catch what it said
Cause I had to match the rhythm of his belly with my head
"Jesus Saves" is what it raved in a typical tattoo green
He stood on a box in the middle of the city
And claimed he had a dream

{chorus}:
What will people think when they hear that I'm a Jesus freak
What will people do when they find that it's true
I don't really care if they label me a Jesus freak
There ain't no disguising the truth

Kamikaze my death is gain
I've been marked by my Maker
A peculiar display
The high and lofty they see me as weak
Cause I won't live and die for the power they seek

There was a man from the desert with naps in his head
The sand that he walked was also his bed
The words that he spoke made the people assume
There wasn't too much left in the upper room
With skins on his back and hair on his face
They thought he was strange by the locusts he ate
The Pharisee's tripped when they heard him speak
Until the king took the head of this Jesus freak

{repeat chorus}

People say I'm strange, does it make me a stranger
That my best friend was born in a manger
People say I'm strange, does it make me a stranger
That my best friend was born in a manger

{repeat chorus twice}

What will people think
[What will people think]
What will people do
[What will people do]
I don't really care
[What else can I say]
There ain't no disguising the truth
[Jesus is the way]

We make decent money, we are constantly broke, just last year, with less income we did great, now barely affording any groceries.
My 18 year old daughter moved into a rental with her jobless wonder boyfriend. She doesnt even have towells, trash bags, toilet paper, soap, dishes, vaccum, cleaning supplies or well, nothing except a bed, tv, couch and some decorations. WHAT was she thinking??? She has NO gas money and NO grocery money...does not get paid until the 31st. I cannot help her and frankly am ticked she did this...
Need GOD to intervene!

"The Worship of God is a Duty, the hearing and reading of Sermons may be useful; but if Men rest in Hearing and Praying, as too many do, it is as if a Tree should value itself on being water’d and putting forth Leaves, tho’ it never produced any Fruit."

LGBT people are not running around telling people to be someone they aren't! We are trying to be us, no one else... But why do people feel the need to come in here and tell us to pray to change ourselves? Didn't everyone learn as a child to be happy with you are and to love yourself? Finally, why do people who claim to be "ex-gays" always hang out in this forum?

I would love to hear active mormons state something hypothetical that would shake their faith. Something like the prophet having a gay lover or the tabernacle being struck down by a tornado (did that happen already?). Anyway, it's just for fun.
