Most prophecy is self fulfilling.
If Merlin hadn't predicted Joan of Arc then she would have never happened. The expectation of the fulfillment of the prophecy was the only reason the political figures of the time would give control of a Christian medieval military to a teenage girl.
I do not doubt that many fundamentalist would gladly set any number of atrocities in motion if they seemed to fulfill prophecy.
Prophecy is truly Pandora's box.

No but if the crazy haters claiming Christ did I'd be worried. Look what those same types have done in the past in Spain and the middle east. For that matter what about the KKK they say they are Christian. They are really following the devil if you ask me. Even satan worshipers don't hang people in trees because of the color of their skin. Ignore them I'm hoping that they actually find the Lord or just go away. Maybe we can send them all to the moon.
