I was so inspired by watching Tammy Faye's faith stay stronger than the cancer that is literally eating her flesh, yet it cannot kill her spirit and soul..

The Doctors are amazed she still is alive, do you think her faith is keeping her alive?

I think she has to tell GOD she is finally ready...

Hypethetical Question - Could really happen though.

We wake the day after the elections and our new President's first order is that all Bibles need to be turned in and destroyed. If you are caught in posession of a Bible the penalty will be death. What will you do?

1) Disobey the mandate, keep your Bible, and risk death.
2)Obey the Authorities, turn in your Bible. ( your relationship isn't with a book anyway's it's with the Author).
3) Do something else.

i have just one more question for those of you on here who decide on bible over evolution... you see, i have a new theory, and i want to run it by you guys-- since god created adam and eve and we've always been exactly like this-- humans-- and haven't changed one bit over the years, god placed bones and fossils that prove the evolutionary theory in the ground just to keep the world's scientists busy... right?

My husband had said that we were going to the garden to pick vegetables. Instead, we went to town shopping. I was wearing one of my favorite blouses which had been very expensive but since I had worn it so much, it was fit only for things like gardening, camping, or art activities where I didn't care what happened to it. It will be discarded when fall comes.

I decided that clothes do not make the man and to adopt these attitudes: (1) Be proud. Keep my head up, like I owned the world. In the meantime, hope I didn't see anyone I knew. (2) If worse came to worse, either be blase' and innocent about it, or adopt that honesty is the best policy and blame my husband! You would not believe how many times I have to help him with his pet projects.

being that most words are made up by man does using profane words mean we are actaully committing a sin? if so which sin are we committing? often times we say someone is cursing, but if we were cursing a person wouldn't that mean we were actually casting a spell on that individual to do them harm? what do you all think?

In my previous question I asked about the value of life, I was told by many religious people that human life is more valuable than that of animals such as cats or dogs, and that furthermore animals (such as dogs/cats) have no soul. I was told that it is the word of God as written in the bible which says man has dominion over the animals of the earth. But I am curious.. if animals have no soul and their lives arent worth as much as human life, does that then mean animal abuse is not a sin? According to an answerer killing a human is the worst thing you can do and quote "To end an animal's life is, well, ending the life of an animal." So my question is do religious followers consider animal abuse a sin and if so how is it considered sin if the belief system places the life of an animal below that of human life? I am not trying to be rude I am just trying to understand how religion views animal abuse, and which bible passages/word of God they base it upon.

Blind people cannot see anything .
Deaf people cannot hear music
Numb people cannot feel things
Mute people cannot speak
Its not wonder a deadened spirit cannot realize God

The Lord healed the blind.. the deaf.. the lame... the mute... those who were bound by demons and satan...
Then he went about teaching them the words of life.
He not only healed.. he fed them of the bread of life and the living water...
This totally restores the whole person.

What are these christians? A bunch of Madpeople? Giving their lives for something that the deaf, blind, mute, insensitive, cannot substantiate?

Its because they got the right organ restored and enlivened.. the human spirit within them got filled with GOD. oh yes... They decided to believe into the name of Jesus and just as simple as that.. received satisfaction and Life from God.

How about you? Is your spirit still deadened? Still dunno what the fuss about God is yet?

How many people here realize that this is the result of conditioning that has been imposed upon us by the media?
