My husband had said that we were going to the garden to pick vegetables. Instead, we went to town shopping. I was wearing one of my favorite blouses which had been very expensive but since I had worn it so much, it was fit only for things like gardening, camping, or art activities where I didn't care what happened to it. It will be discarded when fall comes.
I decided that clothes do not make the man and to adopt these attitudes: (1) Be proud. Keep my head up, like I owned the world. In the meantime, hope I didn't see anyone I knew. (2) If worse came to worse, either be blase' and innocent about it, or adopt that honesty is the best policy and blame my husband! You would not believe how many times I have to help him with his pet projects.

Well, you are a busy person. and if you looked around you, there were probably other busy people shopping, We are not 100% ready for anything that comes along , and in my way of thinking, if my husband didn't grin at me and tell me to change my blouse, I'm guessing he wasn't embarresed to be seen shopping with you. Be proud, you have a life and your living it togather.

So, you were doing house work and had to run out! Whats the problem??? Everyone goes out in something they just shouldent sometimes... and you know what??? No one notices. LOL you have a husband, and if you can wear it in front of him, you can wear it infront of anyone (unless its intimate wear).

Honestly. Who cares. Your husband doesn't care. Why let someones opinions who you barely know effect you? It's not like you're showing up for a job interview.
