I think muslim women are definately oppressed by muslim men.
If a muslim woman does not follow these "rules", then she is considered an infidel.
I have seen reports on how muslim women are treated badly by their husbands, brothers, uncles...........any male relative.
Maybe it's not so much as the women being oppressed as the males being insecure.
The idea of "honor killing" is another example of this culture.

I feel sorry for muslim women. However, as some, such as you, seem to have come to terms with your subordinate position within islam, I don't care. I do care about all of the muslim women who are not as comfortable being second class citizens within islam. Do you recognize that women who live in muslim countries but who do not want to be muslim or follow all of the theocratically imposed laws definitely are oppressed, or are you in complete denial?

Everyone on this planet has the God given right of free will. This religion is a beautiful religion that can't be damaged by people who get their information from CNN or other so called news programs. I mean, really, how can you expect to understand any religion from a perspective of contempt. Just a thought.

muslim women are good ,i respect them, i know a lot of them ,they are oppressed by men,tradition,culture and instructions of islam
