How Great Thou Art!
Oh Lord my God when I in awesome wonder
Consider all the worlds Thy hands have made
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder
Thy power throughout the universe displayed.
When Christ shall come
With shout of acclamation
To take me home
What joy shall fill my heart
Then I shall bow in humble adoration
And there proclaim my God how great Thou art.
Do you agree!

You are on track. Here's why, and I quote: -- " I truly hope this is NOT a New Religion as some have posited since I ABHOR religion and would not want to contribute one more religion to the bunch that already exist. " Hear! Hear! That's why you can pull it off. As to the San Andreas fault, I have some familiarity with this sort of thing, for here there exists the tricky Hayward fault and the Calaveras fault. What you are speaking to here is a kind of facsimile of a vortex. Thus a safe altar will be that of comprised of plants, many plants, those that bear varying and colorful expression and form -- and of course there is the great rock, such as granite, and those rock which truly have resonant quality.

Comparing God to anyone or anything is a stretch that no real answer could provide. He is so far above everything, more powerful than anyone or anything by such a degree that our puny human imaginations could not fanthom it.

There is no realistic comparison to Perfection and He is the untimate Perfection in every aspect of His character and His being.

EDIT: I'M IMPRESSED! YOU FOUND A CONVENTION OF FOOLS WHEN YOU ASKED THAT QUESTION. THEY ALL SHOWED UP AT ONCE! GOD'S WORDS ARE CLEAR!

"THE FOOL HAS SAID ( IN HIS HEART ) THERE IS NO GOD." - PSALMS 14:1 AND PSALMS 53:1 -

Not neccesarily MORE awesome, but certainly equal---our Mother in Nature. In everything else there is a Mother and a Father. I choose to believe that this is the case. A yin to the yang. A feminine to a masculine.

More awesome than the Christian God?
Yup.

Any/all of the Aesir and Vanir.
The Disir...
The Landvaettir...
Even the Alfar.
Heck... I'd take Loki over the Christian God.

If you define "God" as all that is great in the world, even the diehard atheist must say that, yes, "God" by that definition, is great and wonderful. It's all the social/cultural/religious overlays that people argue about in this section.

Lyrics for: Crimson And Clover

Now I don't hardly know her
But I think I could love her
Crimson and clover

Ah, well if she come walkin' over
Now I been waitin' to show her
Crimson and clover, over and over

Yeah, my mind's such a sweet thing
I wanna do everything
What a beautiful feeling
Crimson and clover, over and over

[Repeat to fade:]
Crimson and clover, over and over
