Blind people cannot see anything .
Deaf people cannot hear music
Numb people cannot feel things
Mute people cannot speak
Its not wonder a deadened spirit cannot realize God
The Lord healed the blind.. the deaf.. the lame... the mute... those who were bound by demons and satan...
Then he went about teaching them the words of life.
He not only healed.. he fed them of the bread of life and the living water...
This totally restores the whole person.
What are these christians? A bunch of Madpeople? Giving their lives for something that the deaf, blind, mute, insensitive, cannot substantiate?
Its because they got the right organ restored and enlivened.. the human spirit within them got filled with GOD. oh yes... They decided to believe into the name of Jesus and just as simple as that.. received satisfaction and Life from God.
How about you? Is your spirit still deadened? Still dunno what the fuss about God is yet?

You speak the Truth, and I am not surprised at the negative comments. There are a few here who no longer have scales on their eyes. Trying to understand the precious Word of God without the Illumination of the Holy Spirit is like trying to read in a room void of any light. It does not matter what words of wisdom and knowledge you hold until the Light comes on, you are blind to the knowledge that is at your fingertips.

A schizophrenic person would see the world the same- that everyone who doesn't see the visions, hear the voices, smell the colors, etc. is just blind to reality.
It's best not to believe everything everyone claims, even if they then call you blind, deaf, numb, mute and deadened for not sharing their beliefs. Religious belief requires faith because people have to assume the belief is true and then, based on that assumption, insist it is true. This is so because the objective evidence doesn't support their beliefs.
I'll stick to what the evidence shows. Got real evidence for your beliefs and not the self serving writings of people founding a religion decades later? Got something other than vague feelings? Bring it on, I've been waiting for some good evidence. Don't have it? Don't think that impugning my ability to perceive will convert me.
