LGBT people are not running around telling people to be someone they aren't! We are trying to be us, no one else... But why do people feel the need to come in here and tell us to pray to change ourselves? Didn't everyone learn as a child to be happy with you are and to love yourself? Finally, why do people who claim to be "ex-gays" always hang out in this forum?

Mr Jello, did you not read the questions? Did I criticize anyone, I don't think so... I asked questions to better enlighten myself on something I was curious about.

Tom T, so you are saying that instead of homosexuals trying to find acceptance in this world. We should band together and be against heterosexuality then? I mean your life style is different from mine, so I should refer to it as perverted, and therefore be against you right?

Because, Dearest, they're jealous of our Happiness. That's one thing the Thumpie Folk can't stand is a Happy Gay Person. Be Happy! Be proud of who you are, of what you've accheived and if they don't like it, they can sod off.
WE already know God loves us for who we are. Don't worry, Dearest. They'e out there telling you this and that to worry you, to make you unhappy so that they can laugh at your unhappiness. Isn't that Christian of them?
Be Happy. Worry when you have to, but only when you have to. The sun is shining, the grass is greenish (well, mine needs rain) and it's a lovely day.
It's Summer! Be Happy!
Love Yourself.
I love you.

well good question. People come in here to try to change us because it takes off the distraction of their own lives and what is missing or wrong with them. Some of them think that they truely are doing what god whats them to do and are just ignorant to what is socially acceptable. People also hear what others say and then use that as their own opinion but truely dont know what they are saying. Their mouth is moving but nothing is coming out. And lastly people who claim to be ex gay come in here so that they can have some kind of "connection" to being gay. They are trying to deny who they are yet keep this secret life and hide what they are truly are inside...a rainbow child

I have found that peopel who are not confident and comfortable concerning who and what they are tend to be less acceptable to others who they perceive as different. The funny thing is, when it comes to the ones really spewing the hate (just look at one or two of the answers to this question) many I have encountered don't measure up to their own ideal of what a person should be.

It's not only G,T,B,T folks that they attempet to tell how to live. Some of these people have a poor self image and a narrow view of the world around them. They are intolerant of people who have radically different world views, and I honestly believes their ability to view those who are different as somehow lesser persons serves to artificially enhance their sense of self.

Hinduism is the only faith the place God would not tension us to have self assurance in it. God basically says that guy has been endowed with a stable mind that separates him from animals. in accordance to the Hindu God, Vishnu, getting born right into a human form is an fairly perplexing fulfillment and if guy ignores his greater advantageous start and would not attempt for his liberation, guy turns into as stable as a beast. The Hindu thought of rebirth has been scientifically shown by Dr.Brian Weiss in his artwork referred to as 'Many Lives Many masters'. Please examine it and then attain your guy or woman conclusions on how some distance there is reality in the parable that God forces us into submission.

If someone believes they are an X gay...you either never really were one...or you are LYING to yourself. It isn't a choice! You don't wake up one morning yawn stretch and say hummmmmmmmm I think I will become a homosexual! LOL (I KNOW...I TRIED! LOL)

It is SO BEYOND sad when people pray to change! GOD MADE YOU GAY! HE LIKES YOU THIS WAY! oooooh poet and yeah...I did know it but that one was an accident!

Ok question for you people who say PRAY to change...the Bible says that GOD detests liars...isn't it lying to yourself to deneigh who you are? It says to thine own self be true...pretty hard to do that if you are forcing yourself to follow a path the opposite of your sexuallity. GOD MADE SEX!

I say bi or curious gay or straight God loves you and I think you are great! GO DRAG QUEENS! YAY!

Oh and YOU KNOW Iam your biggest fan Jayse! MWAH! Even if you are a manly man.

I think they just have nothing better to do. We aren't going around asking people to be like us. I'm sure some of us wish more were accepting of us but you have to admit things are getting better for us but still not where they should be. People that claim to be "ex-gays" have just been brainwashed to believe they are not what they were born to be. To each his own.

Well I'm heterosexual and I'm also a Christian. I don't judge others, simply because I'm not perfect myself. There is no sin bigger than the other. The minute we appreciate God for who He is and let Him do the judging the better off we'll all be. I have friends and family members who are either gay or bisexual. I love them no more or less because of whom they choose to love. Nobody deserves to be disrespected or violated in any way, shape or form. God bless us ALL!!!!

They don't want us to be "like them". They want us to be like who they're supposed to be. The very worst thing that could happen for them, of course, would be if every other supposed "sinner" repented and changed his ways; then, they might actually have to address their own greed and hypocrisy. And no, obviously many parents were too busy warning their kids to stay away from those that are different, and forcing them to conform to antiquated gender roles (for fear that they will be the ones that are ostracized for being different), to get around to teaching such Liberal concepts as compassion, self-acceptance, and love.
