"I have stared into the eyes of the angel of death, and he blinked"
Who is ready to face their own mortality, and who is self deluded? How many people do you think really know the difference?

Many people with advanced medical conditions face death daily. The mindset of those who know death is watching is a bit different than average. Anyone who has experienced total cardiac arrest has faced death. By the way, there are no right or wrong answers, just varying opinions.

I don't know the difference, maybe, but I am not afraid of death as much as I am the act of dying.

The fear of death is fear of the unknown. Does all existence cease with death? Is there more to come? What is the more to come, if it exists? These searching questions have been asked (and answered) throughout history by the faith of many people. It has also been examined as a premise from a more scientific point of view.

I've died already. Nothing here matters anyway.
I'll endure so long as the situation allows, but...
I'm ready to die.
I don't care how it comes slow and painful or quick and surprising.
Nothing and I mean nothing is relevant here.
I'd only prefer that it not happen while my children need me.
Don't get me wrong I do not run to it.
There is no comfort in the knowledge it comes.
There's just an acceptance of its inevitability and the courage to do right as there are no consequences to fear.
Blessed Be!

i know the difference between mortality and spirituality and a mortal death i have not faced but a spiritual death i did face and i believe when i was spiritually dead and living to exists was a worst death than a mortal deat. i was a drug addict and an alcoholic and was a bad person all full of sin. but now i am alive and i am willing to face the mortal death for it can't be any worse than the death of my spirit that i faced. Thank the LORD that he saved me and brougth my spirit back to life that i may live on this earth drug free alcohol free and have peace in my life.

I don't think anyone is ever really ready to die. No matter what happens, where I think I'm going, or how much pain I'm in I'd still want 5 more minutes. I think everyone either on the surface or deep down would want that 5 minutes more.

As ready as I'll ever be, which means not at all. I like it here and I still want to do many things and to share time with those I love. Since this is the only life I will have, I'd like to keep enjoying it.

We are all going to face death one day.
God only knows, in what way or just when.
I am prepared to enter the light & meet my Lord face to face.
My spiritual house is in order.~~~ Praise God !!!.
I will once again unite with like believers & loved ones who
have made Him Lord of their life.
He longs to be first in our lives.
If I where a doubter, which I am not~~~~~~~
I would rather live for Jesus & find He didn't exist then to
Not live for Him and find out He did !!
Think about that, won't you ????

I can say I am, but I'm sitting here at a desk typing on a computer. If I were walking down a dark street and suddenly someone jumped in front of me with a gun and said, "I'm going to kill you".....I'm not sure what my feelings would be at the moment.
Fortunately for me, my faith in Jesus Christ will cover any circumstance.
