"It is the act of coercion to force another to believe what you believe which is wrong."
That's one of the best sentences I've read here.

Atheists are not required by logic to prove that God does not exist. The burden of proof falls to the Christians, who have made the unsupported assertion that God exists. The atheists win by default, unless the Christians can prove their assertion that God actually exists within objective (physical) reality. Your question assumes that both sides share an equal obligation to prove their position. This is simply not true. It is always impossible to prove a negative assertion (God does not exist) and no educated atheist would even bother to try. It is the burden of Christians to actually prove that their unsupported contentions are factually true.
As for coercion, it is the Christians who constantly threaten eternal punishment for those who will not (or cannot) accept their superstitious mythology as factual. It is the Christians who regularly use coercion to force others to believe as they do. Atheists generally point out the flaws in the Christian argument, but make no threats (real or imagined) to compel agreement with their viewpoint.
Thank you, "furiousblue" (above), for your excellent comments. I completely agree, although I'm apparently more willing to "preach to the unenlightened."

no one has yet proved any ingredient, yet i could stick to atheism considering that there has been no data for some years, and individuals have a tendency to create issues to unravel issues. I do it consistently once I also have a plot hollow in a narrative i'm writing, I many times make up something so ridiculous and it suits into the plot very top. i for my section do not care if god exists or would not. i could would desire to consider you although, the burden of evidence is on them. And Ra, that quote is the terrific quote i've got ever heard in my entire lifestyles.

Personally, I couldn't care less what Christians do or do not believe. And I don't care whether they can prove it or not. What I do care about is when Christians try to legislate the rules of their belief system so that everyone has to live under them. Then I start demanding justification and evidence, as I don't care to live under the arbitrary rules of an imaginary god.

Christianity and Islam have to convert the whole world, for some reason that i can't figure out. In order to do this they must try to prove or force conversion.

Atheists rarely, if ever, ask for proof from Theists. Mainly because we know it will NOT be forthcoming.
But Theists continually demand from us proof of everything, from no god, to evolution to big macs to big bang. They insist, however flattering it may be, that we apparently know everything about everything.
We do not. Atheists are extremely diverse in both opinion and knowledge. We are not Theists and do not all think alike.

I don't know but I suspect some people like to argue and others just insist on being right. He/God is real to me but I hardly think arguing is conductive to leading people to Him. Personally I think kindness works better.

The Christian who tries to show Christ to the lost is saving a soul from death.
The atheist who tries to disprove God is scared of said death and trying to make themselves feel better.
The Christian who brow beats people to try to get them to believe needs to go back to the bible and learn what it says about evangelizing.
The Christian who argues all the time about the existence of God needs to let God work by simply stating facts, then standing back.
The atheist who hurls insults at Christians needs to grow up.
I witness without browbeating, I give facts without arguing, and I do my best to ignore the childish rantings of fools.
I pray you find what you are looking for.

You are absolutely right. Atheists have nothing to prove. The burden is on the theist.

To me it seems that you are questioning your own beliefs and yourself if you are asking someone else to prove theirs. If you are happy with yourself and your beliefs you should not care one whit how someone else believes. Granted, you might want to share your beliefs with others but if they don't want to hear about them, shut up.
