I was reading replies to another question in which someone mentioned that regardless of your religion, you are still celebrating Christmas even if you don't call it that. How does that even work? Yule does not equal Christmas which does not equal Hanukkah which does not equal Ramadan and on and on.

In other words, people that don't know you will judge you on what you wear, the way you dress, the things you do to your body as well as how you behave. These things are all your real life "avatar". So doesn't it make sense to insure that the way you present yourself is the way you want people to perceive you?

I really like my manager as a person but as a manager, she doesn't know what to do with me - except tell me what to do. She won't let me be proactive and it drives me batty to sit around like a puppet, waiting for her lengthy instructions.

List one thing that you like or dislike about your manager and tell why.

I know that many think that inorder for your name to be Jesus, it must be Jésus (HAY-SUSE) But can your name actually be Jesus (Gee-sus) How come that name is not seen often? I've seen it in nicknames, such as Chris "Jesus" Ferguson, the poker player

I heard there were more than 10,000 saints. Apparently there is even one for computer viruses. Are there different computer virus saints for Mac and PC OSs? If so, the Mac saint is doing a much better job than the PC one because Macs never get viruses. Can we ask the Pope to appoint a better saint to protect PCs?

Are you guys serious? the people that think they're vampires are just the kinds of people that used to play dungeons and dragons and dont have boyfriends or girlfriends. yeah there is evil out there, dont get me wrong, but for the people that shave their teeth down and buy black capes, you all need to get a life. and until i see a real vampire (not on dusk till dawn or dracula 2000) but until i get "attacked" by one and even then, i highly doubt vampires even exist, give me a break u guys. if i flash my cross tattoo at you will u start smoking?

I'm LDS and we believe that Jesus Christ died for us, and that he took on the sins of the world in the garden of Gethsemane so that we may repent and become clean before God. I consider myself Christian, but i live in the deep south (along the Bible belt) and i was told by a Baptist woman that mormons are not Christian because we don't accept Jesus Chirst as the savoir of the world. When i told her we do she said that we accept a different Jesus than her!?! I didn't know there was another Jesus Christ!?!! Whats the Deal??

I am a religious person who knows all about ethics and morals and I can understand why certain things shouldn't be done and why some things are wrong and why we shouldn't mess with certain things and why we shouldn't play God, but I still haven't found a reason why cloning is wrong. Give me a convincing argument as to why it is. It's just like identical twins, just made at different times, right?

And I don't want your answer to be "it's just not natural because God made it so that certain things are to be done between a man and woman and it's all about love..." What about in vitro? If cloning is wrong, does this mean in vitro is wrong too? Why is it wrong to help a couple who can't have a child on their own without scientific and medical interference? So why can't we clone?

Note: I think it's important to say that I see absolutely no reason why we should ever clone, but that doesn't mean I think its wrong. Can you understand what I'm thinking?

You were diagnosed with an End stage renal disease, you needed a kidney transplant as soon as possible. You are so poor that you cannot buy a kidney. And then, a total stranger willingly donated one her kidney without asking for anything in return. She just did this for the simple reason that she believes in God and she believes that she will be rewarded after death. Would you still stay on being an atheist?
(This is a true incident)

the God who is supposed to forgive you can actually get hurt? If you think about it, you can only forgive someone who hurt you and if he/she done a deed that did not hurt you in any way then you have no need for forgiving them. If God forgives then God can be hurt but isn't God already too divine to be damaged? If God can be hurt then He is not God.
