are we all alsleep? 50 years ago subliminal suggestion was being used in advertisning scientific studies that PROVES It works. What do you think has been done, or is being done with your flag waving narrrow minded patriotism. Doesnt the public know that even this ' computer and all this senseless knowledge is just to keep you alsleep from the ' real truth"?

The founding tenets of Gaulibism are as follows:
1) There is only one true religion: Gaulibism. All other religions are just plain wrong + stupid. No arguments. Fact. Get over it.
2) Anyone who doesn't embrace "Gaulibism" will have bad luck all their lives and when they die they will have to spend 27 decades in the Hall of Shame where we will all laugh at them. Oh and after that, they will burn for eternity in, lets say, boiling orange juice.
3) Everthing about Gaulibism is true. It's bloody obvious. Don't try to think about it too carefully because that's Blasphemy. Just believe and you'll probably be OK.
4) Try to be nice to everyone. Unless of course they're not Gaulibilists, in which case, do what you like to them. If you really have to kill / rob / commit genocide, that's OK, but only if you proclaim that you are doing so "In the name of Gaulibism".
5) When I am dead, feel free to claim you knew me and make up further stuff and fight amongst each other.

"The parks superintendent said Jesus was left out because of concerns about the separation of church and state. But Mayor Dick Callaway said it was done for purely technical reasons."

This an exerpt from a local official in West VA. who's town decorated without putting Jesus, Mary, or Joseph in the manger scene; but rather used xmas lights as a human stand in.??
What is wrong with people? God. Is It like some nit-picking nazi mentality that causes such stewardship to the most asinine decisions? Retardation? Brain Freeze? What???

Britain`s Blue Badge guide system is a disgusting anachronism of the Middle Ages where guilds were set up to exclude genius and to support the usurpation of genius and/or secure mediocrity.

I run walks around London without benefit of a Blue Badge and have to laugh when some of the Blue Badges actually attempt to surpass me in areas of film and entertainment.

Hey, buddy, I interviewed Hitchcock. I knew him. What have you done? Passed a (******) test.

Give me a break.

Just curious. I know Muslims are required to pray towards Mecca (5) times a day. In the news I see where Muslims want airports in the USA to provide prayer rooms for them. They say they deal with discrimination everyday because of their faith.

What do you think about this?

2nd Question: How would I be treated as a Christian in a Muslim country with my bible in hand? Could I open a bible store in Mecca?

thanks for your answer!

In some countries is an habit to invite your friends or a lady but honestly, I feel that is a stupid habit as I think everyone has own projects in life and his economy accord to it but people do not understand that and generally, when you want to pay your own expenses, one looks like a rat to the others.

Clearly the fanatics and many of the extreme political leaders and religious leaders do not, however do the majority of Muslims teach and believe in tollerance or are they tollerant only because they can't completly destroy their enemies and their tollerant out of survival rather than principal?

In Bolivia, Friday nights are supposedly called 'viernes de soltero' (bachelor Fridays) and married men are free to go out and behave like singles. Does anyone out there know if this is true? How does it work? And are there any other customs similar to this either in Latin America or elsewhere in the world?

I'm straight (you have no idea!), work in a creative profession where I am around allot of gay co-worker men. So naturally, I've become good friends with many of them. Problem is, seems that I'm so people friendly, that they all think that it's okay to hit on me constantly. As if my just being cool/friendly with them is a come on. Or maybe they can't tell the difference.

It's starting to make me feel like I'd just be better off acting like a phobe, trashing the friendships, and be left alone. Half the time I feel like they're laying office bets down on who can score me first. I find this a bit insulting. They ask for respect for who they are, and I've given it to them, but they won't respect me for who I am, and cut out the sh!t. It burns me up sometimes.

And no, it's not flattering! It's annoying and arrogant!

No different from some straight assuming that gays can be "healed".

If this crap goes on, I'll just ditch I guess. Any similar experiences?

This morning I was woken up by a woman with the WatchTower magazine wanting to talk to me about Jesus. I don't have a problem with religion - each to their own, but what I detest is people trying to ram it down your throat! Does anyone actually know somebody who has been enlightened on their doorstep?? What is everybody elses take on Jehovah's Witnesses?
