Does Christianityand Judaism teach tollerance?
Clearly the fanatics and many of the extreme political leaders and religious leaders do not, however do the majority of Christians and Jews teach and believe in tollerance or are they tollerant only because they can't completly destroy their enemies and their tollerant out of survival rather than principal?

How many muslims are there in the world? How many of them are fanatics? Are all the millions and millions everywhere in the world 'compelled' to be tolerant becaue they cannot destroy their enemies? Do you think you are being realistic and objective?
Fanaticism is a danger. It is not specific to Islam; there are Chritian as well as Jewish fanatics. More broadly, how is a fanatic? Ever checked a dictionary? A fanatic is a person whose strong admiration for something is considered to be extreme or unreasonable. It does not have to be religion. There are fanatic of ideas and people as well.
Peace

Dogma is a spiral of fear based Myst's. Tolerance is looking like a Chinese sign that we will all need to learn soon enough. So maybe instead of concentrating on Muslims, Christians and the like ....all the humans should be checking out how to tolerate down to earth maters that may matter more.
A mere observation. I like harmony too.

Islam is a religion teaching peace, tolerance and solidarity. In no way the Quran supports or incourages violence in the name of Allah. On the contrary, it says that no attack should be performed agains those of a different faith, because they can't see the truth and they'll be judged for it on the Judgement Day by Allah (God) himself. Those who use the Quran to justify their jihad (Holy War) and the killings of innocent people, give Islam a bad name, a name Muslims don't deserve. Read the Quran yourself and see it with your own eyes. Peace.

No, we're tolerant. There's a concept in Islam known as "Ahl El-Dhimma", or "People under protection" these are non-Muslims living under an Islamic authority, they're under Islamic laws, under protection and they the right to practice their rites and religious duties. And same way capable Muslims ought to pay alms, they're too, which is given to the poor.
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said about people who kill non-Muslims: "If anyone killed one of the people of the book (Christians and Jew), the scent of paradise is FORBIDDEN unto him"
Qur'an:
Aal-Imran 3:Aal-Imran 3:75 "Among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) is he who, if entrusted with a Cantar (a great amount of wealth, etc.), will readily pay it back"
Aal-Imran 3:113 "Not all of them are alike; a party of the people of the Scripture stand for the right, they recite the Verses of God during the hours of the night, prostrating themselves in prayer."
Aali Imran - 3:199
And there are, certainly, among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), those who believe in God and in that which has been revealed to you, and in that which has been revealed to them, humbling themselves before Allâh. They do not sell the Verses of God for a little price, for them is a reward with their Lord. Surely, God is Swift in account."
Al-'Ankabut - 29:46
And argue not with the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), unless it be in (a way) that is better (with good words and in good manner, inviting them to Islâmic Monotheism with His Verses), except with such of them as do wrong, and say (to them): "We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you; our Ilâh (God) and your Ilâh (God) is One (i.e. God), and to Him we have submitted"
Al-Ma'idah - 5:82
"...And you will find the nearest in love to the believers (Muslims) those who say: "We are Christians." That is because amongst them are Priests and monks, and they are not proud
