I was once visited by the ghost my fathers pet cellery, named Clifford, and I was all "Dude oh my god!!, i'ts the ghost of my fathers pet celery, named Clifford!" and he was all " Dude I know! I'm totally like, making a spiritual apparation!" so I'm all "dude i never thought I'd see you again after you were hit by that blimp!" and he was all " Dude it's good to see you again man, so how've you been?" and I was all "Dude not to bad, and you?" and he was all " dude yeah I'm pretty cool, I've met a new girlfriend" and I was all "dude, nice one! whats her name?" and he was all " Heidi the radioactive ninja grape fruit" so I'm all "Dude that's awesome" and he's all " Dude thanks man, well i'd better head off, I'm late for a spiritual apperation with Marvin, king of the ninja toasters" so I I was all " Dude catch you later dude" and he was all like "PING!" and dissapeared.

I'm going to my first Christmas do next week and I've been told we have to get a £1 most useful gift. I don't really get it, but any ideas for what I could get? Don't want the obvious (already dismissed idea of a bottle opener, condoms, earplugs etc.). They are all teachers by the way.

What kind of appeal does this woman have to garner tens of millions of dollars yearly and a lobotomized, feminist, fanatical following!

Politically, she's Left Wing Liberal Leaning for sure, when you paruse her list of guests. There is no doubt about it, Liberals all but two, for "the entire year" of 2006!

What's this woman's appeal...she's a bore actually, so why this incredble following of estranged, adoring, worshipping, middle class white Housewives???

Her acting ability is stupendous (The Color Purple) BUT this other strange uppity persona is weird.

What say you? Any insghts?

Some pastors do not know God, even though they give the word of God to people. Some have merely studied, but do not know God. It is important to know this because it is these who give Christians a bad name; these who put people off coming to church because they do not see the fruit of the Holy Spirit in the pastor's life. The Bible says teachers will be judged more strictly than others. Do you understand this?

I read a few books (1 pro christain and 2 non christain and 1 that seamed nutral) and all of them seamed to indicate (some with undeniable evidance) that while the bible is the most coppied text we have access to, many of the one we find to be the oldest are verry diferent from the ones we have today. An example would be the story in which jesus said "he who is without sin cast the first stone". Also is our oldest text Jesus doesent accually talk with the desiples after being reserected he goes strait to heaven and isant coming back untill his second comming. Read "Misquoting Jesus" to c some of the stuff im talking about. Im not saying im atheist I just want to know anyones thoughts on this pro and con.

Couple of times I spent my winter holiday in Serbia with a part of my family and friends. They celebrate the orthodox Christmas on January 7 and I noticed they have many beautiful and interesting traditions usually kept and respected by women. However, last time I was there I felt it too political, to nationalistic and too macho. Every dinner my husband and me were invited to, turned to an unpleasant political discussion ran by men. Also, I heard some guys celebrated it on their own way – shooting from their guns on the very Christmas Eve. No magic, no sparkling, just one girl shot in front of the church. The only things that I appreciated were the great efforts of Serbian women preparing the meals, cleaning the house and opening them for the guests. And after all they do, the man should be the first who enter ones house, otherwise, the bad luck will follow this family. At the end, I saw those women resigned, exhausted and unconcerned by
