Some pastors do not know God, even though they give the word of God to people. Some have merely studied, but do not know God. It is important to know this because it is these who give Christians a bad name; these who put people off coming to church because they do not see the fruit of the Holy Spirit in the pastor's life. The Bible says teachers will be judged more strictly than others. Do you understand this?

This is something that is happening more and more in the end times. We must judge a minister by his fruits. Jesus warned of this in Matt 7:21-23 where people do even miraculous things in the Name of Jesus and Jesus said that HE NEVER KNEW THEM (ie they are not born again). This scripture will apply more forcefully to those false pastors who cannot even heal a fly. All Christians should be aware of this. Have the discernment of the spirit to know whether a man claiming to be a man of God is speaking out of the flesh or out of the Spirit in these last days for even the devil will disguise himself as an angel of light.

Let me get this straight, you would rather be taught by a man who doesn't know the scriptures, but "walks with God"? I don't know about that, I would tend to think an honest man would be a better teacher.

Yes, teachers - leaders - will be judged more strictly. it is a fearful thought, isn't it?

may god help us to live uprightly before Him, to be careful with our words, to not handle the word of God deceitfully.

we need to pray for those in authority, don't we?

god bless!!

I'd rather have someone teach me who knows how to correctly interpret the scriptures than someone with a fruity spirit.
