about the Holidays that most of us celebrate, like Christmas, Easter, Halloween, etc..and that God has a different set of Holy Days, would you change?
Remember...the question is, IF YOU COULD PROVE IT!!
If you wouldn't change, in spite of proof from the Bible, why not?
Aren't we supposed to do as God instructed...Prove all things"??

According to a study found on Yahoo's home page, cosmic rays stirred Earth’s primordial ooze, shaping the origin of life. Why can't people just accept the fact that God created the world?

Would it be considered rude or bad manners if I sent out with my christmas cards a deposit ticket and a postage-paid mail-in envelope for my checking account with a dollar amount already filled in? I was thinking along the lines of $500 or $600. Or would it be more proper just to leave the amount blank? I am afraid if I leave the amount blank the cheapskates will not send in enough.

I like a girl who is christian and highly religious and we know each other since long. Now we're looking to be more than friends and being close to each other. But she says she can't have sex with me before marriage. How to convince her to have it? I can't marry her but she's too good to resist and too hard to let go.

I want to know peoples thoughts on this..If Michael Richards and Mel Gibson have to say that they are sorry for what they said..then shouldn't black comedians have to say they are sorry for what they say about white people? Or rappers for what they say in their songs about killing white people? No one says that they are sorry to the Muslims in America for trying to live here and yet people always are saying comments to them and looking down on them...

Some 2.4 billion years ago when the Milky Way started upping its star production, cosmic rays--high-speed atomic particles--started pouring onto our planet, causing instability within the living. Populations of bacteria and algae repeatedly soared and crashed in the oceans.

The researchers counted the amount of carbon-13 within sedimentary rocks, the most common rocks exposed on the Earth's surface. When algae and bacteria were growing in the oceans, they took in carbon-12, so the ocean had an abundance of carbon-13.

Many sea creatures use carbon-13 to make their shells. If there is a lot of carbon-13 stored in rocks, it means life, the origin of which is still unknown, was booming. Therefore, variations in carbon-13 are a good indicator of the productivity of life on Earth.

The researchers found that the biggest fluctuation in productivity coincided with star formation, which had an affect on Earth's climate and therefore on the productivity of life on our planet.

According to one theory, when a star explodes far away in the Milky Way, cosmic rays penetrate through the Earth's atmosphere and produce ions and free electrons. The released electrons act as catalysts and accelerate the formation of small clusters of sulfuric acid and water molecules, the building blocks of clouds. Therefore, cosmic rays increase cloud cover on Earth, reflecting sunlight and keeping the planet relatively cool.

Although cold and icy times are generally considered unfriendly to life, the data reveals that biological productivity kept oscillating between very high and very low. The reason, the researchers suggest, is that stronger winds during icy epochs stirred the oceans and improved the supply of nutrients in the surface waters.

"The odds are 10,000-to-1 against this unexpected link between cosmic rays and the variable state of the biosphere being just a coincidence, and it offers a new perspective on the connection between the evolution of the Milky Way and the entire history of life over the last 4 billion years," said study author Henrik Svensmark of the Danish National Space Center.

The study was detailed in a recent issue of the journal Astronomische Nachrichten.

My dad is a Packer's fan, but isn't really big into Packer's clothing.
He doesn't work on cars (or have any interest) and works inside an office all day.
He is 45 years old, and I was wondering if any dads out there have aany clue on what they would want or suggest.
For the past few years he hasn't given us a list, so he's been getting crap presents from me and my brothers.
We want to get him at least something decent.
Is there anybody out there that has any suggestions?

What is the big deal with replacing Merry Christmas with Happy Holidays?

Why can't we have both?

I am not offended when I see "Happy Hannakah" or "Kwanzaa" or other religion celebrations, so why is "Merry Christmas" a problem?

okay, im not a racist per-say, but why is it that black people always seem to be so loud and "thuggish" and disrespectful? i went to court w/ my ex for child support re-evaluation and all the white ppl were dressed nice, and all the black ppl were all sloppy w/ pants down to their knees.

i know there are tons of nice black ppl out there, like i said, im not racist, but why do they want respect and to be treated fairly, when all they do is rip ppl off, and act like its a medal of honor to be in trouble with the law? (not speaking for all black ppl...) 1 out of 3 black men in america are in some form of the legal system.

why are they so proud of this, and why dont they want to change this? how are we supposed to treat them w/ respect when they dont respect each other/themselves?

please, im not a racist, im just confused about the subject.
