Well as we do not keep the sabath in the baptist faith and it is not a sin per the baptist. I was wondering about getting a girl friend and commeting adultry. Would it be a sin per the baptist thinking.

i need to send a message on a bunch of flowers as someone i know has been mugged, but somehow 'hope you're feeling better' doesn't seem appropriate. Can anyone give me a brief message for the card which is more cheery and uplifting. thanks

In the Bible it states that a thousand years in our time is like a moment in time to God. Have you ever wondered if the "7 days and 7 nights to create the world" was truly what we know of as 7 days and nights or do you think it could be longer and why?

Hi, I am working as a manager for a hotel in London. 2 days ago i helped over the phone a gentleman who called for a reservation. He made me so upset and first time in my life i felt so embarrased for someone else, cause this gentleman was so hostile and ironic with me because I am not British. I was asking him to spell the name of his company and he was spelling to me on a way to make me feel i am a retard. when i told him that i got it, go ahead sir, he said: Im sorry but i didn't know how good is your english and how good you can get words. after i completed the reservation, he asked me where i am from. I told him Greece and he was surprised cause he thought I am Polish and said that's because London is full of them. I felt so embarassed for him. I hate when people think I am in London cause i am a financial migrant. I wasn't starving in Greece, It was just my decision to live here as other people and especially british are moving to spain. we are on 21st century!!!!!!!!!

I attack no one. I believe that people should live and let live. What you choose to believe is your own business. You want to believe in the Bible, that is your right. You want to believe in the Koran, that is your right. But, If your holy book teaches that all people who don't believe as you do are wicked and should be destroyed, then I think I have some reason for concern.

Christianity is the only true relgion.

George Bush is a evil sob, who is against America. He was involved in 9-11

Homosexuality is a disgrace and all fags are decieved into believing lies.

Girls who have abortions are selfish horrible people, they murder a human life for a few seconds of pleasure. Sick!

Is it me or does Richard Dawkins come across as a bit of an elitist? I applaud some of his methods but his confrontational tactics do make it seem like he thinks atheists are better than other people.

Am I just looking at it the wrong way?

In the moral law which are the 10 commandments we are given the Law of God in this law we have been told that we are to observe the sabbath of GOD. Which is still saturday as any good jewish lad can tell you. From the new testiment if you have broken one of the laws you have broken all the law. Baptist churchs in America have services on Sunday and work on Satruday. Now this is Sin according to the bible! Are the baptist accountable to Gods Law? Does God hold them accountable who sin? What are the affects of sin on a ministry that does not repent and change there ways?

I have been looking into religious QA since yesterday as I hope some of my answers are going to be answered. I have spoken to Moslems, Christians and Hindus online. Because of My beliefs about Jesus I am often an outsider to Christianity and Hinduism is a bit to weird to me. Islam was not looking so great because of the comments I read from people, but I started looking at the questions moslems post and the answers and their blogs and I found many are not as bad as people make you out to be. Is it Moslems or Muslims? Any way I do not want to bother you guys if you want you can email me at cleopatraramsey@yahoo.com. I am not from Egypt, I just like egyptian stuff.

Please see my previous question and you will understand why I feel like an outsider:

After spending 24 years within the Catholic Church, I find myself at a crossroads.

The Church a feel close to a secure within now causes me to question my faith. The conservatism of the church has pushed me away. My wife and I now find worshipping within an organisation which has particular views on women and homosexuality difficult.

We find literal interpretations of the bible difficult to swallow, and want to be involved within a forward thinking liberal church.

Is there such a thing as liberal Christianity that doesn’t exclude members of our society?
