1. Feeding on the Word -- DAILY Nutrition
A healthy baby has a healthy appetite. If you have truly been "born" of the Spirit of God, you will have a healthy appetite. The Bible says, "As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby," (1 Peter 2:2). Feed yourself every day without fail. Job said, "I have treasured the words of His mouth More than my necessary food," (Job 23:12). The more you eat, the quicker you will grow, and the less bruising you will have. Speed up the process and save yourself some pain -- vow to read God's Word every day, without fail. Say to yourself, "No Bible, no breakfast. No read, no feed." Be like Job, and put your Bible before your belly. If you do that, God promises that you will be like a fruitful, strong and healthy tree (see Psalm 1). Each day, find somewhere quiet, and thoroughly soak your soul in the Word of God.
There may be times when you read through its pages with great enthusiasm, and there may be other times when it seems dry and even boring. But food profits your body whether you enjoy it or not. As a child, you no doubt ate desserts with great enthusiasm. Perhaps vegetables weren't so exciting. If you were a normal child, you probably had to be encouraged to eat them at first. Then, as you matured in life you were taught to discipline yourself to eat vegetables. This is because they would physically benefit you, even though they may not have at the time, brought pleasure to your taste buds.

ES answer is very true, we have got to spend time reading God's word. Study it as much as you can to grow strong, Another thing is prayer, we need to spend time praying to God for everything, and thank Him for everything.
The trinity is true, Jesus was in the beginning with God the Father. Read John Ch 1:1 " In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God". Verse 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
John 16:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
Pray for your Mom and Dad, and God will help. Just hang in there, I hope I helped.
P.S. Be very careful what you put into your mind. There are those who will try to get you to read another book other than the Bible, don't fall for Satan"s lies! Jesus Christ is the only way, John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me".

Cleopatra, don't feel bad - your parents probably don't realize that your questions are okay and it does not make you a bad person. I went through that with my grandmother, who was a "bible thumper" to the fullest. She raised 16 children and some changed religions or didn't remain faithful to the church. I think a lot of us have heard remarks that it makes you a sinner to defer from the church. And certainly you are not allowed to have questions, which is ridiculous.
We all get doubtful and it is best to seek the counsel of someone who is strong in the faith to help guide us. Immersing ourselves in the bible alone will often confuse us, which is why it is best to have classes with someone from church who will help answer questions by giving reference to the bible. When I was younger, I went to our minister and he suggested I attend the new converts' class, which definitely helped me understand some of the things I was concerned about.
By doing this (and prayer to God for strength and guidance), you will find answers to your questions with resolution.
God bless you and your family.

"Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." It is not necessarily the same thing as belief. Doubt is a terrible thing and can lead us to renounce our faith in God, if we allow it to. But faith is a thing of action, as well as of belief. How we act reinforces what we believe and those actions and beliefs together reflect the source of our faith. If you want to be steadfast in your faith, quit entertaining thoughts that lead to doubt. Where your focus is, so goes your energy. So quit giving your mental focus to doubt. The second factor is your actions. ACT as if what you believe is true. "Faith without works is dead." This will go a long way toward strengthening that dwindling faith of yours. And most of all, PRAY about it! God hears prayer and knows how to reassure you.

honestly, ever since i have been answering and asking questions in this forum, i have felt more firm in my beliefs than i have in a long time. if you have questions about the trinity, or the bible post them. if your mom and dad are attacking your faith, this is a good start to resupply your ammo for your rebuttal.

You must be true to yourself. Your questioning shows that your critical faculty is blossoming, as it should in normal humans. You HAVE to find your own answers without depending on authority from others.
I know how difficult parental pressure can be, but you must have courage! You're fighting for yourself here. And nothing else should be more precious to you than that.

Faith is the excuse for ignorance. If ignorance is bliss, Christians must be having never-ending explosive orgasms. There are no such things as gods.

Trinity: A False Doctrine
[4:171] O people of the scripture, do not transgress the limits of your religion, and do not say about GOD except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was a messenger of GOD, and His word that He had sent to Mary, and a revelation from Him. Therefore, you shall believe in GOD and His messengers. You shall not say, "Trinity." You shall refrain from this for your own good. GOD is only one god. Be He glorified; He is much too glorious to have a son. To Him belongs everything in the heavens and everything on earth. GOD suffices as Lord and Master.
[4:172] The Messiah would never disdain from being a servant of GOD, nor would the closest angels. Those who disdain from worshipping Him, and are too arrogant to submit, He will summon them all before Him.
[4:173] As for those who believe and lead a righteous life, He will fully recompense them, and shower them with His grace. As for those who disdain and turn arrogant, He will commit them to painful retribution. They will find no lord beside GOD, nor a savior.
