Who knows. My intention is to shop around...check out various afterlives, see if there are any good reincarnations available, that sort of thing.

The same thing that happens when a dog dies or a fly or a plant or a virus. The matter that makes up the living organism remains, but gets transformed into something else as it decays or gets eaten by something else.

When you die, your brain ceases to function and you as a social creature ceases to exist. It is much like a computer that has had its plug pulled. The parts of the computer remain, but the computer itself ceases to function.

I think we were all sent to earth for a purpose and when that purpose is accomplished we move on to the plane we came from or another plane. If we don't then we will have to return to earth to accomplish it.

Very much like going to school, I think. If we accomplish good grades, we go into a higher grade. If we do not, then we will have to stay back.

Before we come to earth we agree what we need to do, but when we get here, we forget and do the wrong things, or it might be that the "wrong" things we do are the things we were meant to do, to teach certain lessons.

I know it sounds complicated, but that's the way I feel. There is one thing for certain, I don't want to come back here.

When you die this is what happens! This answer will depend on weather you have recieved redeemption via the Spirit of Christ. The second part will be for those who are not born again. When a Born again believer in Christ dies. His spirit leaves the body and returns to be with Christ in heaven in that very moment. His body enter into a phase called sleep. And will await the return of the Lord for he judgement of the Earth.
When a none chrisitan dies they go to the judgement of God then to sheol which is what most people refer to as hell. The christian also went to the judgement but we have a advocate with
us in the form of Jesus. And our sin record is covered with the Blood of atonement so God the Judge can't see any charges or any of our sin thru the blood. Sure is good to me a Christian. Christians are not any different from the rest of the world execpt that Jesus already paid the price for our shortcomings and our sin. So we recieve forgiveness of our sin not because we deserve it but because we recieved the gift of salvation for the remission of sin. Jesus earned the right to forgive sin by suffering the torment of the cross in obidence to the Father, Thus all salvaton belongs to him alone.

We just won't know until it happens. But, I think that where we go depends on what we depict as heaven. Mine? I would be surrounded by all my loved ones forever....and maybe even get to talk to some famous people. That would be cool!!

Well, I dont know what happens. But I think we are born again as another human or lifeform. Some people think that we are born again and human is the final stage, then we go to the Gods.

Nobody here is going to die. Our bodies will, of course. This flesh will go back to dust. But the real you, the real person, will never die. The real you, the real spirit, will never die, its gonna live forever. The question is where. Where will this real you live? Will the real you live with God in heaven and glory, or will the real you live with the enemy and his angels and his demons? That's your choice, you see, you make that choice in life.

<----- does not believe in heaven or hell because I am an atheist. When we die I do believe we go on to another place or realm. But until we get there we do not know what that place is.

laura, i'm not sure why you are curious about other's beliefs. but i can tell you about my faith. i believe that some people will go to heaven and others will not. it is a very narrow road that is followed by few people, but it is available for everyone. and it is not even hard. you can do it right now. all you have to do is sayJesus, please come into my life, my heart...I accept you.

that's it. the rest of your life is spent working out your salvation. at the moment you accept Jesus, you are forgiven. for everything. you don't need anyone to help you. no one can stop you from doing it. no one can take it away from you. and since you are forgiven it means you are clean. you are saved, and you are going to heaven, and you can't lose it, and you don't have to work for it, it is a gift.

we are not born clean. every religion believes there must be a sacrifice of some sort to make up for what we've done. But only Jesus has the authority to pay God back for what we've done. priests used to sacrifice lambs, goats and all kinds of things. and they had to do it over and over and over again. as if it didn't work, you know?

now if you want to go to heaven (where God Lives) then you can't be dirty. like when your mom says you have to wash your hands before you eat. in order to be near God, you have to be perfectly pure and clean. only God's son has the authority to make you clean. and the only way he could do that was to die for us. as a sacrifice. and after he died, he came back to life and appeared to thousands of people.

read the bible. it is not just the disciples that saw him. people were freaking out in a major way. he got back up and walked around. he appeared so people would believe. he came back to life because he had control over his own life or death. He was God in the form of a man.

what i'm saying laura, is that if we don't accept the one true savior, we are not going to heaven. if we are not in heaven we are not in the presense of our creator. if we are not in the presense of our creator, where will we be? i do not want to go anywhere that my father is not at. why wouldn't he go there? why would he send his son to save me from it? it must be bad. i want to be with my father, and i want to see you there. it is your decision. and i have to tell you, that you can know for sure where you are going right now. you just have to choose.

where do you want to go?
