OF COURSE I know the colour pink is no indication of sexuality, but WHICH other stupid or ridiculous generalisations have you heard.

My favorite was a male priest who inquired of one of my friends, "Gee, I notice that you have two earrings in one ear. What does that mean? I've heard that if you have an earring in one ear, it means you're gay. Is it the right side? The left side?"
My friend, thirteen at the time, said, "I don't know. Why? Are you thinking of getting your ears pierced?" It was a moment of brilliance!

What the heck does what color you wear have to do with your sexuality. By that logic, if every man that wore a pink sirt was gay, then 90% of male hip hop stars would be gay.

If you wore a rainbow shirt, that might just mean you like rainbows not that you are gay.

It is sterotypes like this that make it easy for people to gay bash those they think are different.

Pink colors on a man don't mean anything anymore. Many years ago gay men would wear purple as a way to identify each other. Like a handkerchief or necktie. That color coding is out of style now. I heard KABALAH bracelets are "In" now.

It does not automatically make him gay, because some straight men wear pink and gay men do not always dress in this color. However, many people tend to question the sexuality of a man who wears it.

I've heard pink shirts, purple shirts, right ear pierced, upper ear pierced, navel pierced, stomach tattoo, lower back tattoo, certain color handkerchiefs, a "swishy walk", limp wrist salute, thick lisp, skintight leather, a dramatic actor, ballet dancer, only friends with girls, the only men taking a women's studies course, give each other head through Glory Holes in the park bathroom, and of course, they're all bottoms.

Have you never seen the latest rap artists (men) wearing pink, it is very En Vogue with the whole rap, r&b crowd, even young teen boys wear pink....It is the new red.....My husband wears a pink golf shirt, and I am pretty sure he isn't gay. And who cares, I don't think all women who wear flannel shirts are lesbians either....

I know of some straight guys who wear pink to prove that they are confident with their sexuality. And some just wear it just to look good. Yeah, stupid generalization... I answered anyway. Lol.

Have you ever heard of the saying "Real men can wear pink!"

Maybe because pink represents femeninity thats why they thought that a man wearing pink clothes has high percentage of feminine side than masculine side.
