I have since my conversion. But as I come to find out, other religions also speak in tongues, which lead me to furiously study, and then teach, the Bible! Tongues do exist, and is valid as long as there is an interpreter. But as I mature in the faith, I also come to find out that any person uninhibited enough can utter whatever language (even gibberish) and call it tongues!
But tongues is not the point. Neither are any other "miraculous" gifts of the Holy Spirit. The point is...Jesus!

Yes. I have spoke in tongues, but I dont think thats the big deal. I think its the way the spirit reveals truth and guides us.

i think of i exchange into baptized in the call of Jesus Christ some years in the past. As for this Holy Ghost, it is going to comprise the territory of having Jesus Christ in my heart, yet for some reason, i've got not been able to do away with a mountain yet. stop by next week. i'm thinking approximately doing it day after today.

I have witnessed speaking in tongues, but something seems to be a miss. In the bible that actually spoke in other people's languages to spread the gospel.
Paul also said if someone speaks in tongues someone should interpret. Modern day tongue speakers seem to just babble.
I heard that someone recorder some tongue speakers and they couldn't even interpret their own tongue speaking accurately.

I this a requirement to get into Heaven? I thought it said in the Bible that only a select few would have this gift and if there is no interpretor, then it shouldn't be done......
