Women: what would do you if you were infertile? As far as life in general.

I have a strong suspicion I barren (havn't used birth controll in about 3-4 years... no kids) and wondered how others would react by that.

Why is that?

I think this is the closest a man can get to being gay without being gay. What happend to good ol hard men... rugged and born leaders (just like the spartan men in the movie 300). I think this is what happens when you let a female take control over a man. No wonder women keep on asking... Where have all the real men gone. Haha better be careful what you ladies wish for. LOL.

for those who dont know...

What is a metrosexual man?

# is a modern, usually single man in touch with himself and his feminine side;
# grooms and buffs his head and body, which he drapes in fashionable clothing both at work or before hitting an evening hotspot;
# has discretionary income to stay up to date with the latest hairstyles, the newest threads, and the right shaped shoes;
# confuses some guys when it comes to his sexuality;

etc....

As a 55yr old man I am a little too old to go after young women in their 20's and I find women in their 40's to be generally ghastly so I date women in their 30's.

Problem is they all want to get married. As the owner of a private mental health practice in Minnesota they seem to view me as an excellent prospect for marriage. But I've never been married considering I could just find a woman I don't like and just give her a house, negating the whole purpose of marriage, so it's not on the table. Nevertheless they don't seem to accept that when I dump them when their complaining that I haven't married them yet becomes too much to bear and go ballistic about it. I've even had to take to concealing video cameras in my bedroom and breaking up with them in a car park which has video surveillance because they occasionally file assault or rape charges. I make a tidy sum from suing for false allegations but I digress.

Can't they just accept that the purpose of marriage means I won't marry?

OK..we know television has been hijacked since being invented firstly for political propaganda use and most recently by the ultra elite of this planet to promote thier products.. to help brainwash us and then suck as much hard earnt money out of us during our lifetimes as possible..

OK.. so what happens when the oil runs out?are people still gonna watch sex in the city? and believe it. what happens when there is not enough water and food let alone lipstick to go around..then what?what are they gonna advertise then, hats and nails?

If we know it's gonna happen.. why exaccerbate the problem now?? if we know the oil is gonna run out.. why not tell woman and feminists to snap out of it right now.. and make them realise the planet needs a model with community and strong family systems in place.. not sprawling urban chaotic cities where every indivdual is trying to acheive some ridiculous goal.. and own a mansion and a ferrari.. woman need to return to being team players post oil??

Daily, I read questions with content regarding one gender or the other. Most often, however, the responses include a comparison between men and women. It would appear that, in order to make an argument for one side, it is necessary to include the other.

Do you think its possible in a section like GWS for there to be a discussion about one topic (ie women in the workplace) without a direct comparison to the other gender?

Avoiding Kids: How Men Cope
With Being Cast as Predators
September 6, 2007; Page D1
These days, if Rian Romoli accidentally bumps into a child, he quickly raises his hands above his shoulders. "I don't want to give even the slightest indication that any inadvertent touching occurred," says Mr. Romoli, an economist in La Cañada Flintridge, Calif.

Ted Wallis, a doctor in Austin, Texas, recently came upon a lost child in tears in a mall. His first instinct was to help, but he feared people might consider him a predator. He walked away. "Being male," he explains, "I am guilty until proven innocent."

In San Diego, retiree Ralph Castro says he won't allow himself to be alone with a child -- even in an elevator.

You had the Black Panthers and the SDS, and both groups were heavily armed. Feminists supported both groups. How could feminists not utter a word of criticism of MEN who are armed to the teeth? Does leftist politics really trump all else?

First, let me say that I would never have supposed otherwise until today. In fact, one of the main reasons I have some sympathy for the feminist movement is that I frequently see my sisters (literally and figuratively) degraded by men of both races and see to many of my brothers failing to speak out against it.

But, in the course of comparing the struggle for racial equality with the struggle for sexual equality, a white feminist pointed to the Don Imus case as an example of racism being taken more seriously than sexism:

"Nearly 6 months ago shock jock Don Imus was abruptly fired from CBS for making a racial slur during public broadcast, and scorned by nearly every national media circut."

I was dismayed at her choice of THIS example. The young people he attacked were women as well as black. And the slurs against them were sexist ("hoes") as well as racist ("nappy-headed"), but apparently she thinks this is just an issue of race.

Perhaps you would be a sensible one who wants to have the same legal rights as a man? Or perhaps you would be a man-hating cow. Or maybe you wouldn't be one at all... in which case, what WOULD you be like?

All opinions welcome.

Growing up as a young man in the western world can be a painful process. Boys and young men are constantly bombarded with messages about how they're idiots, inadequate, or just broken females who need to be drugged into submission. From birth all the way to grave, we are taught that we are oppressors, rapists, pigs. It's no wonder the suicide rate for men is so much higher than for women.

What advice would you personally offer to young men trying to find their way? Relationship advice, how to deal with popular culture, anything. At what age did you personally "wake up" and see the truth for what it was? Did you have a mentor or another catalyst, or did you figure it out on your own?

Women demanding that the toilet seat be put down for their convenience is no different to men demanding that the toilet seat be left up.

It never occurred to men to complain about something that was completely and obviously within their capability to correct. However, it did occur to women.

Because of this, women demanding that the toilet seat be left up can mean either one of two things:

1) They are not competent enough to even put a toilet seat down before they sit on it.

2) They have a deep seated and highly likely inherent hypocrisy.

Which is it? If the latter does this hypocrisy permeate the entire feminist movement with demands of the toilet seat being left down merely a noticeable and well documented tip of the iceberg?
