If so,only of a "desirable prototype" of Man,or they should have the same admission and tolerance that women demand (for their selfdetermination) ?
Do women will accept their Men to self define themselves?

Please offer your opinion and why you actually believe so. This is usually mentioned in regards to war. There is certainly no historical evidence in the few cases of women rulers to suggest that women are not just as likely to cause wars, if not perhaps worse.

Some of this is brilliant - many fantasies are shared by men and women. Some of these are harrowing, I believe! The thing is, sex to us men (most of us)is all about a physical, visual act, not linked to anything in normal life. Its an escape. Women tend to have more abstract things that turn them on, I have found......and many of these are based around the excitemtent of sex with a stranger, the excitement and attention of being forced or co-erced into sex by a male authority member, the excitemtent of infidelity is a big one - read any erotic novels aimed at women and nearly 100% will have more than one man, many different types, i believe women want a selection for different times in ovulation cycle - a smart guy, a rebel, an arrogant sod, a caring, rich, provider. Men want to just see boobs, if their women provides sex, they will be happy. Women want more, I reckon. Think most infidelity caused by women, as many say, a forceful man persisting with her, doesnt count as cheating!!

At what age does one go from being an independent, sexually-liberated powerhouse to being a "dirty old woman"?

*Now, I know that many of you will already be able to do some or most of these things. I also predict that some of you will REACT to this by saying that men should be able to pick up socks off the floor, cook, clean, take care of children, and not be selfish, etc........., and that's a given.
-Be as ready to split if your man isn't good for you as you expect a man to be if his woman isn't good for him.
-Know your car's maintenance schedule and the concepts behind transmissions, engines, cooling systems, suspensions, tires, etc.
-Know yourself, your weaknesses, your strengths, your unreasonable expectations (if any). Gain an understanding of why you became a feminist, and be able to tell if those reasons are misguided.
-Know how and be willing to do DIY around the house, from smoking out gophers under the lawn to painting and floors.
-Be able to keep your cool and remain logical/accountable when discussing business (chores, money, how time will be spent) with the man you've chosen.

Germaine Greer, a 68-year-old feminist woman, recently published a book filled with pictures of naked underage boys, titled "The Beautiful Boy".

http://content.answers.com/main/content/wp/en/e/ee/Bjorn-Andresen-The-Boy-Cover-by-David-Bailey-1970.jpg

Is this acceptable?

Would you find it creepy if a 68-year-old man published a book filled with naked 13-16 year old girls?

Why are so many feminists proponents of Germaine Greer, a disgusting pedophilic pervert? If you support Germaine Greer, then you support a pedophile.

The boy featured on the cover of Greer's book, Björn Andresen, stated that Greer's use of his picture was "distasteful" and that Greer never asked permission from him to use his picture.

Greer also stated that her purpose for objectifying the male gender in this book was to "advance women's reclamation of their capacity for, and right to, visual pleasure". Okay, that's all fine and dandy, but why not use photos of men 18 and over? Why use children?

And I don't mean sex only. I mean in life, in your entire being as a person and development as an individual. Could you?

if feminists keep trying to block and ban everything that is anti-feminism we will have nothing left in the world.
For example there would be no more Shakespeare because Katrine's monologue at the end of Taming of the Shrew.
We wouldn't have any classic romance type novels because they show females as being weaker.
Most music would be banned because most singers; if you can call them that; aren't 100% respectful of women, so they gotta go.
And children will hardly ever get to see their mothers, because aparently mothers who stay at home and cook clean and take care of the kids are being walked apon by their husbands instead of working.

5. The only orgasm you ever had was while reading A. Dworkin
6. You think prostitution has more dignity than motherhood
7. You filed at least 2 sexual harassment suits and you are not even good looking
8. You scream discrimination to get your way
9. You have no life
and of course....

So women are finally finding equality. Well.. in some countries at least.. but has it made a positive difference or are we still somewhere along the line towards "redemption and equality"?

It was reported just today that in 5 major citys in America, women junior recruits are being paid on average 17% salary than their male counterparts. This includes New York, Chicago and a few other major cities. A good thing??

Socially, women are enjoying much greater freedoms, owning property having independent lives, travelling and choosing their direction in life... but is that the case for all women or just the lucky "rich kid" types..

Socially, the ills.. highest divorce rates in history, highest levels of sexually transmitted diseases in history, record levels of youth suicide and teen pregnancy.. not to mention bastardry (children raised without fathers- 70% likley to have unstable lives)..

So are things better???

And if you disagree, how would you revise or amend?

(Trying again because I presented the question poorly before)

"Feminism" names a family of ideologies (in the non-pejorative sense of systematic ways of describing the social world) united by the belief that cultural. social, political, and economic phenomena and institutions are best understood in terms of their functional role in creating, perpetuating, or sustaining social, political, and economic inequalities; that these inequalities are systematically at the expense of women; and that these institutions need to be reformed to rectify these inequalities.

I am trying to cut ties with an ex of mine, and it's hard. Well tonight he took it really hard and threatened to kill himself and said "Tell my dad I love him", ect.

Well..I felt like I had no choice but to take the bait so I calmed him down and told him we can work on it (which is a lie, I want nothing to do with him)..this is not the first time he has done this when we were together we would have an occasional explosive argument and he would threaten to hurt himself.

I'm so pissed that I have to play along tonight, but I don't want to risk it in case he actually will hurt himself. This is a red flag, is it not?

We often discuss how many feminists have led us to the feminization of America, and have done a great deal of feminizing boys as they grow up.

Many feminists argue that there are no inherent differences between men and women, and that gender is just a "social construct". Anyone with common sense knows this is a politically-correct lie.

Many feminists advocate that men should strongly embrace femininity, and women should strongly embrace masculinity.

I've provided three pictures of a gentleman doing an honest job of loading pallets on to a truck. He was just going about his business, doing the normal routine of his work. Men that drive trucks or work with trucks is traditionally viewed as being a "masculine" occupation.

Is this a feminist's dream of how men should look...?

Most of you know what we are up against.

- Only 43% of college students
- Live 6 years less on average
- Despite this very little activism for our health
- Child custody only about 7% of the time
- Demonized in the media
- Much more

These are problems that many people don't know about so spreading the word is key. How are you going to do that?

by the law when it comes to gaining custody. I read this a lot on this forum and one of my best friends had to fight hard to gain custody of his child. I'm not familiar with laws & don't have personal experience. I feel passionately about both parents being involved, so I don't understand why a father has to struggle to be allowed to be a father. Please give me specifics of flaws in the law/system.

Please refrain from attacking the ideology of feminism that stands for EQUAL RIGHTS, no more, no less--and by attacking equal rights, you can't argue men's rights. I'm interested in an honest dialogue and solutions, not finger pointing.

Shows like jackass, dirty sanchez, wild boyz, balls of steel, viva la bam and the dudesons. First question - in a feminists’ eyes do they stereotype us all
Second Question - bad influence on boys? As if the “don’t try this at home” will work they are dumbing boys down and yeah I know of several boys under the age of 10 wanting to try this stuff whilst their parents are off drinking and gambling… why aren’t any of you trying to remove these shows from television if your all for equality, it’s a really bad influence on kids. And yeah, I have been trying to remove these shows but have been unsuccessful as I am a minority.

I saw this article today in the LA Times, "Wedded to greed in India", that stated "Despite official efforts, grooms and in-laws still harass, torture and even kill brides over dowries. Rising affluence has only worsened the avarice. The practice of dowry in India goes back thousands of years. Its original intent, scholars say, was to protect women."

The article includes statistics for the violence against women in India: "In 2005, the most recent year for which figures are available, a woman was killed over dowry every 77 minutes in India, according to the National Crime Records Bureau. The total of such homicides was 6,787, but experts suspect that the true figure is much higher, because many dowry killings are not reported. Even when they are, most of the killers go unpunished."

Here's the article:

I have a friend who has a seven year old son and they wanted to put him on meds because he pulled a girls' hair, kicked another girl when she called him a baby, and tore some girls notebook... I told him not to sign the diagnosis papers no matter what. The doctors and school officials were totally mad he would "refuse to act in his sons interests" but I was proud he saved his child from those b..ches. When boys are just being boys, women go... oh he's antisocial, he's a predator! Dont you think they are overreacting and hurting our boys?

I know there is a difference in the degree of mutilation, but can't we all agree that both are forms of mutilation forced upon those that have no choice.

My question starts off with a short story, bear with me please.
My cousin's girlfriend gave birth to a beautiful baby boy on Sept. 21. When I came to visit the doctor was disscussing circumsion with Amanda (gf) and Chris (my cuz). He warned them that it was an awful experince for their son and he will be in pain for several days.
When the doctor left we, Chris, Amanda, my other cousin Linds got into a discussion about how painful it was. Linds, who has a 4 year old son was telling them of her experience with her son and warning them that it is intense to see your baby in that much pain. But she was still for the circumcision. I expressed my opinion that when I have children that I'm not getting them circumcised.
They immediately turned on me, despite the fact that I have done research on both FGM and circumcision.

Identical and equal are different concepts. Being Identical is being the same. Being Equal is having the same value. Saying that women should not have equal rights is saying that we are not as valuable. The same for anyone who does not have equal rights because of some difference.

And equal rights does not mean all of the same rights. For example a woman has a right to make decisions about her own body re reproduction.

Do you agree? Disagree?

why?
